This Could Be Me...

If you haven't heard by now, I'm a massive One Direction fan. No, I'm not the completely crazy kind, but I do really like them and their music. Well, they were on Saturday Night Live last night, but it was too late for me to stay up and watch. (geeze, I really sound like the 10-year old fans). Anyway, this was one of the clips, and I thought it was hilarious. I may or may not be "Dan Charles"

November is Over

Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy that it's already December? October and November flew by. Hopefully December slows down a bit (at least when I'm not at work.)

November wasn't too crazy. For our Relief Society activity we went out to the Hyrum Stake Humanitarian Center where we attempted to help tie quilts. Chances are they had to redo all the stitches I put in. Luckily I was only able to tie a few, so they wouldn't have that many to redo. It was a lot of fun, and we had a great turnout. Its great seeing so many sisters show up to help serve.

I had another Dr. appointment that went well. Someday I'll blog about them all. I'm doing fine though. The weather most definitely isn't helping, so that sucks, but what can you do? That's what you get for living in Utah.

Thanksgiving was really  nice. Greg cooked the entire meal, with a little help from me. It was delicious, as always. The day was low key, spent sleeping in and then watching football and Modern Family all day. It was awesome. I love Thanksgiving and just being at home with Greg. It's relaxing, and just sucks that I had to work the next day. I had Saturday off, so that was good. I'm excited for Christmas and for the holidays.

Greg put up our outside lights today. and befriended a stray cat for me. I'm calling her Pumpkin, which is only funny if you've see the movie The Heat. Too bad we can't have her for reals.

Work is fine. There are a few changes going on which has caused some frustrations and conflict, but we make it through...like always. I am still a bit frustrated with some things, but there really isn't much I can do about it. Things will never change there. But it's all good.

That's about all for now. You can see some daily pics and journaling over on my daily blog, if you feel so inclined. Life is still pretty boring! :)

September thru today

Wow. October is almost over. Crazy. I haven't even blogged about September yet. There wasn't too much that happened in September though. I did go to the doctor finally, but I'm still working on the post for that one. The best part of September was going to the One Direction movie. I would have gladly gone by myself, but Greg had my sis-in-law Shaina go with me. We had fun. I loved it, though I wish they would have done more interviews with the boys, but it's okay. I'm excited for the video to come out...WITH extras. Merry Christmas to me! It was fabulous. I can't wait to watch it over and over.

October has been a bit more busy. I feel like there has been something every single day, and there almost has been. I also think I've missed more work this month than in any of the months previous. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that. Good thing I've got 3 years worth of sick accrued. On the 1st, I took a bit of a tumble. I was leaving work, and I stepped off the curb, and honestly, all I remember after that is taking two steps and knowing I was going down. I couldn't do anything to catch myself, so I just fell. Kind of hard. I caught myself with my head at least. It hurt like crazy. I didn't know what to do so I just curled up in a ball praying that A. No one would run me over, and B. someone would come out of the CU to help me. Luckily there was a college kid who drove by and stopped to help. He was super nice, and he helped me stand up and go into the CU. It was totally embarrassing. My boss drove me to get Greg, then I went home and just slept. My head was killing me. I missed the next three days of work. I was just so dizzy and was a bit nervous to drive or even be at work. I needed the rest.

From that time on, I had either tests or church stuff every single night. For Greg's fall break I took a few days off work and we went to Star Valley where we (I guess just me) sat around and did nothing. It was fabulous. Sleep in, take naps, watch TV. Super great. I was sad when it was over.

Just been busy with random stuff since then. I'm looking forward to November and the holidays.

The Rest of August

The 6th, my friend Melanie had a baby shower. After two adorable boys, she finally is getting her girl. I had a lot of fun shopping for some super cute baby girl clothes. Had to make sure to get lots of PINK for her. It was a good night, and I appreciate Mel talking to me forever after. Since we’re no longer in young women’s together, I don’t see her as often, and since we can’t work out at the moment, we don’t get that time either. So thanks Mel. Sorry for keeping you so late.

Let’s see…Greg is getting closer to school starting. He finally put up some decorations. That’s about all though.

August is my favorite time of year when it comes to Arctic Circle shakes. It’s huckleberry days. Super delicious.

My brother-in-law Kyan was blessing his baby on the 25th, so we headed down on the 24th. My in-laws were getting a hotel, so we got us a room also. We had KFC and went swimming/hot tubbing. It was so great. I think my future home will have a massive hot tub. The next day we went to sacrament, then went to Kyan’s and played with the kids. They are such cute kids, and so much fun.

August was a busy month, but apparently super boring. Going through my pictures on my phone, nothing very exciting happened.

So, my boss won an iPad for work, and he was gone the day that it got here, so we decided to send him on a treasure hunt to find it. It was pretty funny, and made the day go faster coming up with clues and trying to figure out where to send him. Caleb even took it a bit further and actually burned the paper to make it look more realistic. When Danny got in the next day, the first thing he said was, “My iPad should be coming, so don’t hide it from me or anything.” Little did he know…he was a good sport about it though. Its nice having fun co-workers.
And I think that was about it for August.

An August Wedding

August went by just as fast as July, if not faster!

August 1st was Brady & Ashbee’s reception in Cokeville, so I headed up after work. It was a beautiful reception. The decorations were super cute, and Ashbee looked beautiful. She had this whole vintage theme going on. Very cute. There was a slight mishap with Brady’s ring that I was supposed to help with, but really probably only made it worse. I still feel bad I didn’t double check the size, but what can you do? You don’t need a ring to be married. (Still, really feel bad.) But again, it was good to see the family and friends. I have the cutest niece and nephews, and they are always loads of fun. Brady & Ashbee had a little program where they had family members from both sides sing. Ashbee’s family is super talented, whereas there are only a select few from our family who are. Kennan rocked it on the piano, while Ben and Kenz each sang a song, and then my favorite was the song that Brady wrote and sang for Ashbee. You will have to stalk my instagram page for a snippet of that if you want to hear it. Super sweet!

The kids wanted to go home with me, so I loaded them up in the back seat and took off. It was the funnest trip I’ve had in a while. A short five minutes with their imaginations running wild. They are the best.

There was a crazy lightning storm that night so we stayed up and watched it for a little, then I stayed up and talked to my siblings for a bit longer. It was good to talk to them and catch up.

The next morning we headed to SLC for the wedding. I got to take Grandma and Kennan. Kennan was a bit boring, as he slept most of the way, but it was a lot of fun talking with Grandma and laughing the entire way. I don’t get to talk to her near enough, so I’m glad she got to ride with me. Even Kennan wasn’t too bad once he woke up. It was a bit scary driving in Salt Lake. The normal parking was full, so trying to figure out where to park freaked me out a bit. It’s alright. We made it. It was a beautiful ceremony, and was good to see even more friends and family. Derek & Sheila, Pat & Paul, Uncle Robert, Aunts Kathy and Laurel, and my cousins Heather,  Haley, and Cassidy. Plus Nathan and his wife who I’ve never met, and Buck and Aub (my friend who is the aunt). So good to see them.

The luncheon was held at Chuck-a-Rama, which was awesome because I sat at the ‘fun table’ with Heather, Hailey, Cassidy and Aunt Kathy. Oh boy. I don’t see those cousins near enough. Lots and lots of laughing for sure.

It was a great day, and I’m super happy for Brady & Ashbee. Can’t wait for them to make me some nieces and nephews (just not TOO soon). Love you guys!

The rest of July…

I can’t believe how time has just flown by. Seriously. It’s already half way through September, and I’m so behind on blogging, it’s not even funny. I’m actually typing this up at work since I don’t really love my computer (or the chair we have over there for me to sit in.) so if I don’t do it now, it may never get done.

The 20th of July was a bridal shower for my sister-in-law-to-be, Ashbee. I was able to go to Cokeville and see family and a few friends (since Ashbee’s aunt is actually my age. What?!? Kind of crazy, right?). It was a lot of fun though, and great to see everyone. I don’t know Ashbee all that well, and of course what I do remember/know of her, is just as little girl. But I’ve always liked her, and think she just has the cutest personality. I’m super excited for her to be a part of the family. Her ‘theme’ was a time of day shower, and I had 2:00. I decided if I were home at 2, I’d probably be watching my Soap Operas (love that there is a SOAP Network), so I got her the first season of Pretty Little Liars (which I’ve never actually seen, but McKenzie LOVES), and some baking stuff. I was super proud of myself.

I also got to see cute little Liam who is just the cutest, even if he wanted me to walk him around.
Greg technically started school on the 22nd, and went in a few days that week, and then was pretty busy the entire next week trying to get the schedule figured out. I think at this point he was wondering what he got himself into, but he stuck with it, and is enjoying himself. He wouldn’t let me decorate his room, so it’s a bit bare, but it’s kind of exciting that he has his own office and everything. He’s legit people! (Oh, and we got some Coldstone a few times)

I took a few days off that week, and we went up to Star Valley on the 23rd after work. My mother-in-law and Annie were flying out to DC on the 25th, so we went up to bring them back so Kyan could take them to the airport.
It was a nice little break, despite the fact that Greg destroyed my leg when we went four-wheeling. I was sitting behind him and we ran over a bit stick and it flipped up and scratched my leg up. Of course the first thing Greg did was rub my leg. Ouch! Not the best of ideas. But I survived the attack

After that short trip to Wyoming, we brought my MIL and Annie to Kyan’s in Salt Lake. We stayed the night and then went to Hogle Zoo the next day. It was pretty fun to take the kids and walk around. There was a lot that was closed off, which was kind of disappointing, however it made for a shorter day, and less walking. I do okay if I’m not walking a ton, so we were there for the perfect amount of time.

I was a bit disappointed though. One Direction was in the SAME TOWN as I was, and I didn’t even get to see them. They had their concert in Salt Lake on the 25th, and Greg didn’t let me go, or even let me try to stalk them in any way. I was totally bummed. I even tried to win tickets, but Greg told me the wrong radio station, even though I knew it was the right one. So disappointing. Maybe next year, right? We should be rich by then.

And then Greg thought it would be funny to text me this...

But he was good to bandage me up and keep by wounds from getting infected.
That was about how my July went. Summer just isn’t summer when you have to work. It’s all good though. We tried to find things to do with what little time we had off. It went by way too fast though.

Oh, and PS. If you want to keep caught up on my daily haps, don't forget to check {here}.

7.14.2013

Since the last update...

Here's the haps...

Having a new phone has been awesome. It's pretty sad when the MP on your phone camera are just as good/better than your DSLR. Guess that means I need a new DSLR, right? But it's been awesome to take as many pics as I want and have them still good quality, and also be able to upload them to Instagram or Facebook in a matter of seconds. Totally rad. I'm able to document my awesomely boring days a lot better.

June 28 was our Ward Campout. Greg, being the Elder's Quorum president was in charge of cooking the food that night. They told us to plan on like 50 people, and ended up with over 90. Needless to say we ran out of chicken. There were plenty of potatos though, and most people didn't seem to complain. I had fun talking with some of the ladies in my ward that I don't see too often (good to talk to you Melanie! :)  Other than the bugs, it was a fun night.

I got a new nephew that weekend too, so on Sunday we skipped church to go see him. We had a lot of fun holding the new baby, and playing with the other cute kiddos. We don't see them near enough!

The 2nd was my birthday....I'm 27, and feel 87. I can't believe I'm that old. It's weird to think about. It was a good day though. I got to work, so that's always fun. Greg got me some flowers, a card, apparently my phone was part of the bday, and a new windshield for my car! He also got me a new ring to wear when my fingers are too swollen for my real ring (which is always). For dinner he made me shrimp, crab and onion rings, with cheesecake for dessert. It was a good day.

Mom & Dad came on the third and took me out to Texas Roadhouse. it was good to see them and get a delicious meal out of it.

I had the 4th off (YAY!) which we enjoyed with a movie, World War Z, which was really good. We went for a walk later that day and then watched Silver Linings Playbook. It was a great relaxing day.

I got a letter in the mail from my Grandma on the 8th. Thanks Grandma! It really made my day, and this blog post is for you to get caught up on me. :)

Things here are good. I feel alright most days. It's manageable, and I'm able to go to work and be okay for the most part there. As long as I don't have to do a lot of consistent walking or have to bend over to pick stuff up, I'm alright. This too shall pass.

Relief Society is going well. Last Sunday was my first Sunday, and despite being the only one in there under the age of 35, and a near-cat fight, it was good. It'll be a good change for me, and I think it's something I need right now. I have a fear of visiting and meeting new people, so this calling with make or break me. We had our first enrichment on Tuesday, and it went well. Had an okay turnout, and got to eat ice cream, so it was really good. I went out tonight and did my first visit (to my neighbor...) Yeah, it's sad that in the 8 years  we've lived next to her, this was the first time I actually visited her. It was good though. She was super nice, and it was a good first step for me. Who cares if it took a few tries to get me over there.

Anyway...that's about all that's going on here. I'm tired...and have another long work week ahead of me. Can't wait! When i can figure out how to get my pictures to my computer I'll post some pics.

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

It's been quite the month here at the Aullman household. We go years without changes, then all of a sudden, quite a few all at once.

We had Greg get a 'real' job (which doesn't change much except now we'll earn a second income. YAY!) I do have to say that we've been very blessed to be able to go a year on a small single income. (I only averaged about 30-35 hours a week) but we had many blessings in disguise that helped us make it through. So what if we had to go without a few luxuries for a year. Guess what? We survived!

Second change - Last Saturday we decided to upgrade our phones and join the world of Smartphones. Now, we did this for a couple of reasons. One, we were both due for an upgrade (Greg still had a flip phone...that's how behind in the times HE was). Second, we needed to upgrade our plan anyway. The plan we were on had me a 500 non-Verizon texts, and Greg at 50. He kept going over, and since the only plans you can get now days are data plans, we decided to just go for it. We spent about 2 hours deciding what to do, and ended up going to Best Buy where the phones were cheaper, and the insurance plans were better. I got the Samsung Galaxy S3, and Greg got the S4. It's taken some time to get used to, but we both really love them. I'm excited about it...and luckily I can pick up some Wi-fi at work if I really feel the need to get on the internet.

Third change - I've been in the Young Womens presidency for nearly 5 years now. 2.5 under Melanie as president, and the last 2.5 under Farina. It has been a great experience for me, and I've really enjoyed it. A couple of Tuesdays ago, Greg got a call from the ward executive secretary asking Greg and I to meet with Bishop that evening. We tried to guess what it might be. We knew Greg wasn't being released, so we narrowed it down to it being about me. I joked saying maybe I was going to be called to be the Relief Society president. Well, imagine my actual shock and surprise when I was called to be the Second Counselor in the Relief Society presidency. My jaw literally dropped. Apparently everyone else was a little shocked as well. But I have to say I'm quite excited about it. Extremely nervous as well. It's only been about five years since I was last in relief society. But it will be good to get to know the other women in our ward. I feel like I only know a select few (ie, the ones that have served in YW). So it will be a good change. I guess this is what I get for not doing my visiting teaching or going to any enrichment activities. I guess that better change. <--yet another="" change="" p="">
I think that's about all for now. Luckily these have been good changes...

Goodness

Here's the happs since I last blogged.

I actually had the 25th of May off, so since it was a 3-day weekend, we decided to head up to Star Valley. We took off after work on the 24th to make the trip. Greg's aunt who lives in Georgia (who I also have never met) came up for the weekend as well and stayed at my in-laws house. We all went to breakfast the next morning (Greg, me, Mother-in-law, two aunts and an uncle, plus Annie, and Shaina & Jesse came up that morning). Then we went to a cousin's wedding, took some pictures, got some chocolates, saw some baby kitties and went on a 4-wheeler ride. Then we relaxed the rest of the weekend. We came home on Sunday so we could spend Monday just chillin' at home.

The 27th was our 8th anniversary...crazy, right? We ate Chili's, which was super delicious, and just hung out at home. Pretty low key, but I'm okay with that.

Greg has applied to about 20 different school counseling jobs, and we haven't had much luck hearing back. He's been interning at Logan High School for the past year, and has made some good friends. We learned that one of the Middle School Counselors was retiring, and that there would be an opening there this coming school year. He applied, but we didn't hear anything for a while. After not hearing from any of the other schools, we felt this was a great opportunity. He had quite a few of the HS staff call and talk to the principal, but we knew that nothings was for sure. He got a call to interview on the 31, and needless to say I was a nervous wreck.

We learned there were six candidates that they were interviewing, two were inexperienced (Greg being one) and one was a counselor from Cache School District. The day of the interview I was pretty wound up. We had heard a lot of different things, like, they usually let the one they want to hire know that same day, then the others later the next week, so of course when we didn't hear back, we weren't sure what to think. I had a few meltdowns that Friday, and a couple on Saturday, but then I felt fine. I was just calm. I didn't get a feeling that he necessarily got the job, but it was just a feeling of everything was going to work out...one way or another.

Monday and Tuesday came and went. One of the counselors kept trying to get some info from one of the interviewers, but couldn't get much. Apparently there are some rules that you can't say anything until it's 'official'. Psh....Anyway. I just kept thinking that they would have let the person they wanted know by then, so the longer it took, the less our chances were.

Wednesday came, and we still hadn't heard anything. We just went about our normal activities, and around 4:50 Greg noticed he had missed a call from the Principal at 4:00. We don't know how he missed it...maybe it was just to add to the drama of it all. The principal asked him to call back (which I took as a good sign...because honestly, if I were calling back candidates about jobs, if they WEREN'T going to get the job...I'd prefer to just leave a, "Hey you didn't get the job" message! lol) Anyway, Greg called him back, but had to leave a message. Of course we were too wound up at this point, so we decided to try to take a nap. We hadn't laid down for 5 minutes when the phone rang. Greg left the room to answer it, and so I tried to use my Vulcan hearing to listen in. It honestly didn't sound too promising, but when they were on the phone for a while I decided to get out of bed. I heard him say, "I can go into the district office tomorrow" so I gave him a thumbs up sign. He gave one back, and long story not as long as it could be....he got the job. It's such a relief, and we're pretty excited about it.

Greg is happy to be in the same district as the counselor's he's been working with for the past year. He does already know the Middle School Counselors as he did his practicum there last year. It'll be a good experience for him, and I'm happy for him to have it. At the end of his interview, the principle told him that it was very advantageous that he had so many good friends in the district, and we truly believe that. We are so appreciative of all the counselors he has worked with in the HS, and for his references that talked him up too. And thanks to everyone else for your prayers. We really appreciate it.

And that is the goodness of the past few weeks. Here's to some more goodness to come!
Oh yeah, and I got bangs. In case you didn't notice.

5.19.2013

As of late...

Crazy how time goes so slow...and yet so fast at the same time. I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post. It's funny how at my sister's wedding I had multiple family members say how much they enjoy reading my blog, and how I need to blog more. The problem with that is there really isn't much to blog about. Seriously. Unless you want a play by play of my day, but even then it's going to be the exact same day after day. Got up, went to work, was annoyed with (insert any name here), came home. Really, that's about it. Not too much going on around here. Just work, and chillin'/being bored at home. We don't do much.

I had this last weekend off. We sat at home...watched the Hobbit (longest 3 hours of my life...how can there possibly be two more of those movies coming out?) and pigged out on junk food. (Not really, though we did go get shakes and fries from Arctic Circle.) That was the highlight of my weekend.

We don't really have any big plans for summer. I get to work all summer, so that should be loads of fun. It takes me 3 months to earn enough time off for 6 hours, so, needless to say, I don't have much time off to play this summer. Depending on if Greg gets a job or not, I might plan a vacation for us. We haven't had a real vacation in, well, ever, so we'll see if I can convince him to leave the Shire. I know I need a vacation.

But, that's really about all. Seriously. My life is boring. I don't even have any fun stories from my days. Here's to another long week.

A Wedding

I posted this over on my daily blog...but in case you don't read it. Here it is!

My little sister got married today...Kinda crazy! I still think she's the little 8 year old I remember her as. But I guess we've got to grow up sometime. Anyway. her reception was last night, so I got off work early and headed up with Brady. Shari, Ben and their kids were there, and Kandyce, Clay and Liam were there too, so I got to see the kiddos. Alex was a grump and kept giving me the stink eye, but Aidan and Lilli were super excited to see me (even if Lilli did call me Brittney). But when I first got there, Shari, Kandyce and I showed Kenz what we got her for her wedding night. Lots of fun stuff! Then we all just kind of laid low for a while.

I took Kenz and Kyler in a little before the reception to take a few pictures. I'll have to get them from my mom and dad, because I think they turned out super cute. Then we headed to the reception. It was good to see a lot of the Cokeville people that I don't see as much any more (Boyers, Birches, etc!) plus family (Grandma, Uncle Don, Uncle Stan, Trevor & baby Chloe, Michaela, etc). It was just a lot of fun seeing and talking to people, and cuddling with my cute niece and nephews.

I came back to Logan that night with Kandyce & Clay who were staying in Wellsville so we didn't have to wake up early and fight for showers. The wedding was at the Logan temple at noon, so I got to sleep in a bit. The wedding was really nice, and even though it was weird seeing my baby sis kiss her groom over the alter, I'm really happy for them. Kyler is a super nice guy, and they make each other happy.

It was also great seeing even more family and friends at the temple -- Aunt Kathy & Heather, Aunt Laurel, Aunt Pat, Haley, Cassidy, and Emily, Aunt Korena & Savannah (holy gorgeousness!), Aunt Gayle & Uncle Robert, Aunt Meg & Uncle Larry, and I'm sorry if I forget anyone! It makes me excited for the next wedding, where hopefully I'll get to see more friends & family.

Anyway, I'll maybe post more about the wedding later, and when I have some pics to show. But it was a beautiful day, and I'm very happy for my sis and new brother! Love you guys!

Here are some pics that our friend Karla took at the reception. Yes, they are all of me...but it's my blog! Deal with it! :)

She hung onto me quite a bit over the weekend. I didn't mind too much...Love my little Lilli Bug.

I kinda really want that camera.

Playing peek-a-boo.

Giving baby Liam kisses...I love his ears poking out...He's such a cutie.

Talking with one of my favorite women. She is such a beautiful lady, inside and out.

Okay...here's one of the cute couple. Yes he is a cowboy...and is about a foot taller than McKenzie. We still think he's great! ;)

Regrets?

Do you have any regrets today?

Today, today? Not really. Maybe not listening to conference as well as I should have. I can't do more than one thing at once, but I also start to drift off if I just sit there, so I tried to do mindless stuff. But I love conference. I wish we had it more often. It's always such a wonderful feeling to be able to listen to the words of the Prophet and Apostles. I love hearing their stories, and most of all, their testimonies. What great examples they are, and the advice they give is amazing. I'm grateful to be a part of this Gospel, and to have a testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know God lives, and He loves ME. He knows what I'm going through, what I'm struggling with, the pains that I have, and he still loves me, and is there for me. I know that Christ suffered and died for me, so that I can repent and strive to become perfect every day, so I can live with Him and my family forever. I can't imagine what it would be like to not have that knowledge. I vote we have conference next week too! (Or like once a month! ;)

--------------------------------------------------

Also, I'm debating making my daily blog private....so if you want to continue to read this randomness, comment here with your email so I can invite you. I'll keep my regular blog, but it won't be nearly as exciting as my daily blog! (C'mon, you know you want to continue to see my obsession with 1D!)

Wake Up

Do you wake up to a CD, the radio, or a buzzer?

I usually wake up to my phone on vibrate. Who uses a real alarm clock now days anyway? I don’t have any music on my phone, so I don’t get to wake up to music. There are some days, though that I don’t hear my phone, so I wake up to Greg getting ready for school. After he showers and comes into the room, I usually ask him to grab my phone so I can go back to sleep and wake up when it buzzes. I wish I could wake up to some blaring music, but I don’t think Greg would appreciate my music choice. So I just wait until he’s gone and then I blare my music while I get ready for work.

Patience!

What personality trait would you like to adopt?

Patience…or the ability to not freak out over little things that happen. Patience is something I pray for everyday…patience in my job, with my husband, with people I work with, etc. I’m obviously failing quite miserably, because I have to keep praying for it. But I just envy those who let little things slide off their shoulders like it’s no big deal. I try to…but then things build up and build up, and eventually EVERY little thing is a big deal. Not cool. So that’s a trait that I wish I had.

--------------------------------------------

I was able to go to the temple today. My baby sister is getting married, so she went through today…CRAZY!! It’s just crazy to think she is old enough to get married. It was a good day though. We were able to go out to lunch with my family that was there (mom, dad, Kandyce & Clay, Brady & Ashbee, and McKenzie) plus Kyler’s family. It was good to spend time with them and see them. I can’t wait until the wedding so the rest of the family (ie, the niece and nephews) will all be there.

3.22.2013

Dream Room

If you could design a room in your house to suite only your needs, what would it look like?

Good question. I’ve always been obsessed with scrapbooking, so my room would be full of scrapbook supplies. Floor to ceiling shelves of papers, stickers, etc. Even though I don’t do much traditional scrapbooking, it will still be full of stuff to do it. I will also have a new mac on a cute little desk with an awesome printer in case I wanted to do a bit of hybrid scrapping. Basically just an awesome room where I can go to scrap in peace. Oh, and it'd have an endless supply of 'snacks' (aka junk food) and awesome music!

3.21.2013

Last Vacay

When was your last vacation? Where did you go?

I’m not sure I’d really consider it a ‘vacation’ but I did go to Vegas December 27-30. We went and stayed at my sister-in-law’s house. Greg, Robert and I went out to the Hoover Dam one day and walked across the crazy huge bridge. Then we were able to spend one night out on the town with Mike and Juanita. Always good people watching times. It was a bit chilly, probably the coldest I’ve experienced down there, but fun times anyway. It was a bit crazy considering it was so close to New Year’s Eve, but fun anyway. That was the most recent ‘vacation’ we’ve been on.

3.20.2013

Glad for today...

What are you glad you did today?

As always, I’m glad I went to work. Had I not gone to work today…I would not have gotten paid for 6 hours, and while the amount of money I make for the amount of work I put in doesn’t always come out even, it’s always a good learning experience to go to work and deal with what I deal with.

3.18.2013

Snow White's Dwarfs

Which of Snow White's 7 dwarfs describes you best today and why?

For the most part...Happy. A little bit Grumpy, but it was a good day for the most part, so I'd have to go with Happy.

Maybe a bit Sleepy at this point in the day. I am exhausted and not thinking straight, so I'm going to bed after this lame post!

3.17.2013

Today...

Where did you go today?

I went to church, then I came home. That's about it. I may have walked outside to take our garbage out...but Sundays are pretty low-key. It was okay, because I slept so poorly last night...and I don't function when I don't get a lot of sleep. Also. Today was the first Sunday in 3 years that I didn't have to lead the music (not counting Sundays I missed). I was actually at church...sitting in the congregation. It was awesome!

3.16.2013

Bad Habit!

What habit of yours would you most like to eliminate?

Hmmm...I sigh a lot...mostly when I'm frustrated, annoyed, bored, or tired. I find myself doing it quite a bit, and it's really annoying. It does have it's purposes...like if I want others to know that I'm annoyed or frustrated, however, I find that I do it way more for the other two than is necessary. I don't mean to. It just happens!

3.15.2013

My Life in One Word

Choose a word that best describes your life at this moment. Why?

STRESSED! Trying to get Greg's job situation figured out...praying that schools will call back...praying that we'll get a job...plus add my health on top of it, and work on top of that...it can get a bit stressful. But I just take each day one at a time. There's not a whole lot I can do about work. I have to go each day. I can't stay home because my body aches and hurts. I just have to keep going. There's also not much I can do about a job for Greg. Just keep praying. I'm sure it'll all work out. One way or another, we'll be a-okay!

--------------------------------------

Speaking of work...I pulled an all day-er at work. It's been a while since I've done that, and let's just say by the end of the work day...I was exhausted. I think 3:00 is about the time my body really shuts down! But hey, it was an extra 3 hours of pay.

3.14.2013

Biggest headline!

What was the biggest headline in the news today & what are your thoughts?

So, usually I spend time on KSL at work reading the news...however, today I was a good girl, and didn't really spend much time. And looking over the news stories (local), nothing really jumps out at me. Therefore, I have no thoughts! :)

3.13.2013

Me Time!

How much "me" time did you get today?

Well, between the hours of 8-3:30 (Greg was late picking me up!) I had ZERO! It would be awesome to have my own little cubicle where I could ignore everyone in the building.

But usually when I get home I lock myself in the bathroom for about 30 minutes to read or just unwind from my day.

Then before bed, when I bathe, I take my book and read for about 15 minutes before finishing up there. ahhh...that's the best. I already did that once today, and I'm about to do it again. My body is killing me, and this is the best way to relax (other than SLEEP!)

Hooray for Me Time!

3.12.2013

Sounds

List the sounds you are hearing right now.

Niall Horan singing Little Things (along with the rest of the band...it's just his solo...is it sad that I know each of their voices...ooh..Harry's turn...)

Also, ESPN news in the background. I really miss NFL season. NBA and college bball just don't excite me so much.

Now it's Bruno Mars...Pandora kinda rocks. Good mix of music.

(oh, and I only post so many pictures of 1D because I don't have any good ones of my own to share! Sorry if you don't approve)

3.11.2013

Anywhere?

If you could snap your fingers and appear somewhere else, where would you be?

Hawaii! California! England! Somewhere totally awesome that I've never been before, because Utah is kind of boring, and I don't want to be here!

3.10.2013

Most Valuable

What is the most valuable thing you own?

My marriage! (Can you own a marriage?) The other stuff I have can all be easily replaced. Marriage...not so much. He's kind of stuck with my forever... (don't worry...it'll only seem like eternity!)

3.09.2013

To do (never)

List three things on your to do list that never seem to get done.

*Meal planning
*Blogging
*Organize my house

Yeah....maybe someday!

----------------------------------------------

I got to see my cute little nephew Liam this morning though, so that was fun. Tomorrow is Kandyce's birthday, and they were in town, so we went out to breakfast. There was Kandyce, Clay, Liam, Brady, me and their friend Bill. It was good to see them, and of course to play with Liam. I don't get to see my nieces and nephews near enough. I wish I had taken some pictures, but of course I didn't! Here's one that Clay posted to facebook though.
He's super cute, and loves me. And he also has the same names as one of the member's from One Direction...Liam James...not even kidding! Same birthday too.
Okay, I lied about the birthday. Liam Payne was born August 29, while Liam Bolton was born August 10th-ish?
Also ^^ is 19, while the Liam is just 7 months old. Also, one is British and a pop-star, the other is American and just a baby. (just in case you needed that pointed out)

3.08.2013

Last Song

What was the last song you listened to?

Twenty bucks if you can guess the artist. (Lie...you don't get any money!) It was most likely Rock Me, Change My Mind, Cmon Cmon, or I Would by One Direction. I don't remember exactly...but there's an 82.3% chance it was one of those!

and for your viewing pleasure...
you're welcome!

3.07.2013

Clean or Not?

On a scale of 1-10, how clean is your house? (10 being the cleanest)

Well, it all depends on what you consider "clean". If you mean like super sparkly, shiny clean...then -5. But if you're basing the scale on an average person's house, I'd go with -4. Just kidding. I'd say like 5? Haha. Our house isn't really dirty. Like, it's not one of those you walk into and cringe, and find ways to cover your nose without being obvious (at least in my opinion!) Sure it's super cluttered (thank you Greg), but it's not gross dirty. We vacuum, wash dishes, take out garbage, etc. This is a tough one...

3.06.2013

Saving vs Spending

Are you saving or spending?

Well...I sure try to save. We actually were doing really well there for a while (back when Greg was working and we didn't have to pay back student loans). Unfortunately, we have to start paying back one of the loans, which we weren't expecting to have to do until June, so that's a bit of a bummer. Pretty much my entire paycheck goes towards bills, but I do try to put a little aside..only to end up pulling it back out. But the fact that I'm putting it into savings should get me points! We don't spend near as much as we used to, and don't have a lot of expenses...other than your basic bills. No expensive car loans that cost more than our trailer, no major credit card bills, and really, we don't eat out THAT much. So, we're doing good. I fully intend to start building our savings again when Greg gets a real job.

3.05.2013

First Thing

What was the first thing you ate or drank today?

The same thing I have every other M-F ... a glass of milk and a small bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats. Breakfast of champions!

-----------------------------------------------

Today started off well. I purchased and downloaded 1D's Take Me Home CD (finally!) and listened to it all morning while getting ready for work. Then there was actually decent music playing on the radio so I could rock out in my car on the way to work. Then came work. The music there kinda sucks. I get that we're associated with the church, but seriously, I need some more upbeat music to work to. Occasionally we'll get some Phillip Phillips and even Coldplay filtered in, but not too often. Needless to say, by noon my enthusiasm dropped quite a bit...wasn't helped by some of the people I was associated with, but what can we do? I did have a lady who comes in about once a week ask me if I'd lost weight. That was nice to hear. She's my new favorite member.

3.04.2013

Three Attractions

List three attractions in your current city you have never visited, but would like to see this year?

Well, since I don't really know what there is...I googled it. It came up with nine attractions.

1 - Utah State University (been here many times, paid them way too much money)
2 - LDS Tabernacle (except the picture was the temple, either way, been to both!)
3 - Beaver Mountain (not in Logan...also, too cold...so unless they have something cool in the summer. I may pass on this one!_
4 - Crimson Trail (I guess it's a possibility)
5 - Old Lyric Repertory Company (I'll have to google this one!)
6 - Willow Park Zoo (love the monkeys!)
7 - First Dam (also been here many times)
8 - Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum (never heard of it)
9 - The Riverwoods Conference Center (oooh so exciting!)

So that's the list. Doesn't sound so exciting...so any Cache Valley-ites..do you have any suggestions? We hopefully won't be here much longer, so if there's any MUST SEE attractions before we go...let me know!

(okay, let's face it...now that I've said that, we'll be here for the next 10 years. no rush!)

3.03.2013

Sentimental

What is something you have that is of sentimental value?

When Gram passed away, I was able to get quite of a few of her things from her house. I was lucky enough to get her two porcelain dolls that she kept on her mantle. These dolls were my favorite when I was little. I loved looking at them, and was so happy to be able to keep them.

Sorry....my storytelling is lacking today. I'm not going too in depth here! ;)

3.02.2013

New Talent

If you could have a new talent, what would you want?

I'd want to be able to sing...really well. I'm an okay singer. I can keep a tune, read music, harmonize, etc. But I'd like to be one of those people someone says, "That girl can sing!" And not be afraid to do it either.

I guess that's not really a 'new' talent...but it's all I got for today.

3.01.2013

Favorite Day of the Week

What is your favorite day of the week and why?

Well, we can rule Thursdays out for sure, so I'd say every other Saturday, and Mondays...I really don't mind Mondays, compared to the other days of the week. I guess Tuesday isn't so bad. Wednesday is okay, except I have stuff Wednesday night (which isn't really that bad, but just sometimes it's nice to not go anywhere). Fridays are alright as well...unless I have to work on Saturday, then sometimes they're as bad as Thursdays. So that being said, we'll go with Monday! Congratulations Monday...someone likes you!

2.28.2013

Stresses

What stresses you? (in no particular order)

- my job (more the *inefficient* people I work with, not necessarily the job itself, though check holds make me shudder)
- money (or lack thereof ;)
- my house/cars (worrying what will happen next that we'll have to spend money to fix)
- greg finding a job
- "friends"/people
- my body
- lack of sleep
- the cold

---------------------------------------------------

In preparation of Thursday (and my hate of them!), I decided to make brownies to take to work. Now, we have Fat Fridays (where we rotate who brings a treat) but that's Friday. I'm okay with Friday...it's Thursdays that need something extra awesome. Brownies were just the thing. I think I'm going to start making treats every Thursday....

2.27.2013

All by Myself...

Can you comfortably eat in a restaurant by yourself? Go to a movie?

Honestly, I can't say that I've ever really tried it. I think movie, definitely yes, bit go to a sit down restaurant...probably not? Because that's kind of weir if I have someone I could go with. Fast food, I'd have no problem with it, but still...why would I go all by myself, when I have someone to go with?

2.26.2013

Inefficiencies of Man

What is annoying you?

I could say a million different things, but I think the main thing that has annoyed me lately is the inefficiencies of man, and the lack of awareness of these inefficiencies. For example, if you schedule a meeting for 12:15, and church gets out at 12:00, you can't meet with 10 different people "quickly" in that 15 minutes. That's the reason you have schedules, and people to schedule meetings.

But this is the same situation anywhere...doctor appointments, etc. If you have something scheduled...you need to do your darndest to be efficient in keeping these appointments. I get that sometimes things come up, but every single time? Maybe you need to do a better job with scheduling.

Also, take a work situation. It is just a lot more efficient for me to have the person who doesn't have anything to do already, than to ask the one who already has a million things to do. It just makes sense people. Also annoying that sometimes I'm the only one who sees it that way.

2.25.2013

The Last 7 Days

List seven things about the last seven days.

1 -- Celebrated Thursday night with Coldstone (which was much needed because Thursdays are my worst days ever!)
2 -- Came to the conclusion that I need to find a new job...ASAP
3 -- Watched The Lucky One and some clay-mation Pirate cartoon
4 -- Got Juniper Takeout. Their deep-fried mushrooms are to die for...but that's about it. The rest of the food...bleh...
5 -- Found some bad news about one of members who was killed in a car accident over the weekend. I've never had someone really close to me killed like that (knock on wood!), so it was kind of a shock. I just helped him on Friday. He was the sweetest old guy who always had a joke for us. He'll be missed.
6 -- Realized that the world isn't going to stop and wait for me....everyone will keep going, changing, whether I like it or not. (This is why I obsess over 1D. If I don't, I think about other depressing things)
7 -- Learned that you can learn a lot about people you know by stalking people you don't know. Your secrets aren't safe people! (muah hahaha...evil laugh!)

2.24.2013

Holiday...

If there were a holiday in your honor, what would it celebrate?

Well, it would be EVERY Thursday (because Thursdays suck, and they need to be livened up), and it would just celebrate my awesomeness. Pure and simple. It also means that everyone gets the day off, as though Thursdays didn't exist. Okay, that's unrealistic. It just means that I get the day off to celebrate how awesome I am.

2.23.2013

Favorite Song

What is your current favorite song?

I have lots. Here we go:
"Kiss You" One Direction
"One Thing" One Direction
"Little Things" One Direction
"I Would" One Direction
"Irresistable" One Direction
"One Way or Another" One Direction  --  Single released to raise money for Comic Relief (this video will break your heart!)
Basically any songs that One Direction sings

It's been what, a few days since I mentioned these cuties? You had to have seen it coming!

Also:
"Ho Hey" The Lumineers
"Home" Phillip Phillips
"I Will Wait" Mumford & Sons

And a few others I didn't mention.

Going my back to my 1D obsession. I may have watched the Brits the other night. One Direction was performing. How could I NOT watch it? Unfortunately they lost to Mumford & Sons, but one the Global Success award. Luckily, the Brits replayed again later that evening, and I was watching the Big Bang theory with Greg, when I decided to switch over to the Brits to see if the boys had performed or not. Talk about PERFECT timing. They had just announced the award right before 1D performed, so I got to watch it twice. It was awesome.

2.22.2013

Morals

What has challenged your morals.

Well, I don't know that it was necessarily a challenge, but I suppose it could have been. We got paid yesterday, and while I was quite happy to see the amount that was deposited into my account, I knew it wasn't right. It's not that hard to figure out what I'm going to get paid before I actually get paid (# hours worked x pay rate + incentives for january) So I had a good idea of what it should be before taxes, so imagine my surprise when it was about $250-$300 more than what I expected (after taxes even!) I had a lot of thoughts, like maybe I got a bonus, or a massive raise (I definitely deserve it...in the most humble way). But I just knew it wasn't right.

Now, I don't know if they would have ever noticed, but even if it was a bonus or something, I decided to let my boss know that I thought there had been an error. If it were a bonus, awesome, then I could confirm my worth to them, and if not, then while the money would have been nice to have, it wasn't mine and I would have felt guilty for not saying anything (plus if they had come back later an asked about it, I doubt, "I thought it was the bonus I felt I deserved" would fly! ;) Come to find out, I was paid someone else's $350 incentives for about 3 months, and so I wasn't able to keep it. My co-worker joked that I "just had to complain about the extra money", but in reality, I wouldn't have felt right about keeping it, and to be honest, it wasn't even a real 'challenge'. Sure it was frustrating seeing what my account would have had with that, but again, it wasn't mine...and I feel proud of myself for saying something and getting that taken care of ASAP. Who knows...maybe I'll be blessed for being honest about it someday.

2.21.2013

To buy...

Three things I need to buy....(in no particular order)

1 - gas for the car
2 - new jeans that actually fit
3 - milk

2.20.2013

Vroom Vroom

What kind of car are you driving?

It is a 2000-something, silver Chevy Malibu. A definite upgrade from my Buick Century, Pontiac GrandAm, or Plymouth Sundance, and despite my efforts to bust through a snowbank, and damaging the front bumper a bit, it's been a good car, and I am happy with it. (Besides, it's not my fault that my trailer park managements sucks at plowing and leaves big piles of snow/ice in the middle of the road making it a bit difficult to turn around!)

2.19.2013

How I'd Like...

to see myself...

Let's see...happy, healthy, and something else. But mostly healthy. I'd love to be able to do the things I used to be able to do. Things like simply scratching that itch on your back, or putting on socks, clipping your toenails, or the list could go on. I keep hoping it'll all pass, because somedays are definitely better than others. But if I could see myself one way...it would definitely be healthy!

2.18.2013

Hope

My biggest hope is...

that Greg will be able to find a good job. I don't really care where it is, though I would prefer outside of Utah. I hope for his sake (and MINE) that we'll be able to find something for this coming school year. I know a lot of people have trouble finding stuff right out of college, so that is my hope. Also hope we find it ASAP, even though I know it means we would leave right away. Just would be nice to have that figured out.

2.17.2013

Last New Thing

What was the last new thing you tried?

Good question. I don't even know, to be honest with you. I guess the only thing I can think of is artichoke hearts. We had a jar of them for like 5 years because I was going to make a spinach-artichoke dip. Never did. Well, Greg finally opened them, and sauteed some in butter. I was a bit hesitant at first, mostly because they were so old, but they were delicious, and now we have them quite often. Good thing they're healthy...

---------------------------------------------

I finally got my new book yesterday. I love it! It's kind of weird, but I am already half way through it. Love Adrian! Also, I have tomorrow off. Thank heavens! Too bad it's not forever.

2.16.2013

Pizza

My favorite pizza toppings are...

See, here's the thing about pizza. I love pizza, but I'm kind of weird when it comes to toppings. I like cheese, I also like pepperoni or ham and pineapple, but I almost always pick of the toppings. I'll occasionally each some of them, but mostly pick them off. I get that I could just order plain ol' cheese, but it just doesn't taste the same. I love thin crust dominos ham and pineapple. Reminds me of Greg and Western. I also love Papa Johns. The best pizza ever. But yes, we order ham and mushrooms usually, and I pick off the toppings. Anything but meat lovers or any type of veggies. Those are harder to pick off the toppings, and the taste that lingers isn't so good.

2.15.2013

Another Birthday

Do you like to celebrate or forget your birthday?

Ummm...celebrate...or forget. If we don't celebrate it, I'd rather forget it. Plus it just means I'm that much older and haven't done much with my life, so maybe just let it slip by without notice...Once upon a time I looked forward to them. When I wasn't responsible for paying for the presents, and getting older was cool. It's not so cool anymore.

--------------------------------

But speaking of birthdays. Guess who has a birthday today? That's right...that would be my husband. He's even older than me, so he's super old. I got him a USU hoodie and T-shirt to celebrate the last 7 years of USU. So glad we're done. But we didn't do much else. I'm just glad this day exists and that his mother put up with him for all those years. Happy birthday Greg. Love you!

2.14.2013

Sleep... & Valentine's

It's no lie that if I don't get enough sleep, I can get a bit cranky. Not to mention my body hurts and aches like crazy. So, basically I need my sleep.

How many hours of sleep did you get last night?

Answer: Not enough. This post is kind of gross, so feel free to tune out. You see, I get these nasty sores on my fingers, and they get these really nasty puss build-ups. Right now I have one on the tip of my middle finger, and I had to get the puss out, so I ripped it out, leaving a big hole in my finger tip. It was okay while I was in the tub where it was warm, but once I got out and got into bed, my finger started stinging like crazy. I don't even know how to describe it. There is very little that keeps it from throbbing, so I had to sleep with my fingers in my armpit to stay warm. But I also can't sleep on my side very well because of my stomach issues, so between a throbbing finger and acid reflux, I didn't get too much sleep. I had to finally get up and soak my finger in warm water and epsom salts. After that I slept a bit better, but had to keep my finger wrapped up. The worst is waking up after little sleep knowing you have the rest of the day ahead of you.

----------------------------------

Anyway, today is also Valentine's day. We didn't do much of anything. Enjoyed each other's company with a taquitos dinner. Love my hubby.

2.13.2013

Boooooks!!

What book are you reading right now?

Well, since I don't have the new book I want just yet, I'm currently reading Vampire Beach. Why? Because it was cheap at Hastings, and, again, I don't have my new book yet. (It came out YESTERDAY!) So far, it's alright. I always love books about rich teenagers who can do whatever they want...Oh, and supposedly there are vampires. I haven't gotten that far yet, so I can't confirm. I'm just going off of the title.

Before this one I read Safe Haven, which, while sad, actually had a happy ending, unlike 99% of Nicholas Sparks books. I kind of want to see the movie, beyond the fact I'm not sure it will follow the book very well, considering she is a blonde in the movie, and has brown hair in the book. But it does have Josh Duhamel, so can't go wrong ever there....ever...

And before Safe Have I finished the Vampire Academy 1-6, and spin-off Bloodlines 1 and 2(twice), and book 3 is the one that I still haven't got yet. I'm super excited to read it, but will probably have to read 1 & 2 again before, because that's just how I do. I have to read the whole series before the newest one. I just do. I really REALLY can't wait.

Also, they are making a Vampire Academy movie. Not sure how I'm going to feel about it. It may ruin the series for me. The actors are no one I recognize, though the main girl is the girl in Beautiful Creatures (which hasn't come out yet) so we'll have to see if she is a good actress or not. As long as Dimitri and Adrian meet expectations, I think I could deal with a sucky Rose. Too bad they didn't just get Chris Hemsworth like I requested, and too bad I have to wait one year from tomorrow for it to be released. I think I'll survive.
ehh...I think he'll do!

2.12.2013

Photos...

How many photos did you take today?

Not near enough. Try ZERO. For someone who claims to be a photographer, I sure don't take many photos. I don't have a fancy phone, so I very rarely take pictures with that, and I don't take my DSLR with me, even though I carry my 'camera bag' aka yellow purse. I really need to do better, but when you just go back and forth between the same places day after day, there isn't too much to excite me enough to take a photo. I need to carry my point and shoot more often though. Just in case. Who knows what I'll miss.

2.11.2013

Worst job EVER!

What would I consider the worst job in the world?

Being a teller at a credit union...kidding. I think it's a pretty great job. Not too many complaints (other than I'd really just rather NOT work!) But in reality, I think I'd hate to clean up after rich, dirty, lazy people. I think I'd get too angry to be doing their dirty work. Or a job where I was getting constantly yelled out. I'm not the nice person I once never was.

Anyway...
some people have way too much time on their hands!

2.10.2013

10 Things I'd Do If I Were Rich

List ten things you'd do if you were rich....in no particular order.

1 - Pay off our student debt
2 - Buy two reliable cars
3 - Fix up our trailer so we can sell it for a decent price
4 - Travel to New York, Hawaii, Canada
5 - Upgrade our computers and camera
6 - Donate to charity
7 - Do something nice for our parents
8 - Update my wardrobe
9 - Quit my job
10 - Front row 1D concert tickets

2.07.2013

Name a person...

....you wish you didn't have to deal with today...

awkward...

so I'm not going to choose a name. It really was an okay day, so this is a tough one. The members I helped were all fantastic, otherwise it would have been one of them!

And since I don't know who reads this, I'm not going to be honest. I'll just take a pass for today!

Anyone seen Impractical Jokers? Pretty freakin' hilarious!

Also, had a mishap with some french toast, and syrup not staying on my plate. My carpet is now sticky and it drives me crazy because one, I had sticky. Like really hate sticky! and two, I'm not sure where it's spilled so I can't clean it until I step on it, which I try NOT to do. I'll just be wearing socks for the rest of forever. Hate...Sticky...It makes me want to cry!

Lately in Feb

Lately...life's been about the same.

Work is alright. I love my job, just not some of the things that go on, but we  have a lot of fun. I have some great co-workers that keep me laughing.

My baby sister is getting married...that's kind of weird. She's like 10, so it's a bit crazy.

We had New Beginnings tonight. It turned out really well. We had our girls choose a pair of their favorite shoes and how they help them to "Stand in Holy Places." Our girls are amazing. I love hearing them talk. They're pretty fantastic. It was a great night.

Ummm...think that's about it!

15 Minutes

If you could spend 15 minutes with any living person, who would it be and why?

Okay, you gotta know that I would change it to living persons, and ten bucks goes to the person who can guess who those persons would be...

...

Okay, not really. You don't get $10, but I do think it would be rad to spend 15 minutes meeting these guys.

Color!

What is your favorite color?

Well, this is tricky, because it all depends. My normal answer is black...because how can you not like black? It goes with anything. But I like turquoise and gray combos.
or gray and yellow
or really gray and anything

Or turquoise and orange
And no...this isn't any sort of announcement...it just happens that all my friends are moms who pin baby stuff all the time. They pin baby stuff, I pin 1D stuff. I guess we're even!

Now when it comes to hair color...this is what I'd love to do with my hair.

or this...
