Since the last update...

Here's the haps...

Having a new phone has been awesome. It's pretty sad when the MP on your phone camera are just as good/better than your DSLR. Guess that means I need a new DSLR, right? But it's been awesome to take as many pics as I want and have them still good quality, and also be able to upload them to Instagram or Facebook in a matter of seconds. Totally rad. I'm able to document my awesomely boring days a lot better.

June 28 was our Ward Campout. Greg, being the Elder's Quorum president was in charge of cooking the food that night. They told us to plan on like 50 people, and ended up with over 90. Needless to say we ran out of chicken. There were plenty of potatos though, and most people didn't seem to complain. I had fun talking with some of the ladies in my ward that I don't see too often (good to talk to you Melanie! :)  Other than the bugs, it was a fun night.

I got a new nephew that weekend too, so on Sunday we skipped church to go see him. We had a lot of fun holding the new baby, and playing with the other cute kiddos. We don't see them near enough!

The 2nd was my birthday....I'm 27, and feel 87. I can't believe I'm that old. It's weird to think about. It was a good day though. I got to work, so that's always fun. Greg got me some flowers, a card, apparently my phone was part of the bday, and a new windshield for my car! He also got me a new ring to wear when my fingers are too swollen for my real ring (which is always). For dinner he made me shrimp, crab and onion rings, with cheesecake for dessert. It was a good day.

Mom & Dad came on the third and took me out to Texas Roadhouse. it was good to see them and get a delicious meal out of it.

I had the 4th off (YAY!) which we enjoyed with a movie, World War Z, which was really good. We went for a walk later that day and then watched Silver Linings Playbook. It was a great relaxing day.

I got a letter in the mail from my Grandma on the 8th. Thanks Grandma! It really made my day, and this blog post is for you to get caught up on me. :)

Things here are good. I feel alright most days. It's manageable, and I'm able to go to work and be okay for the most part there. As long as I don't have to do a lot of consistent walking or have to bend over to pick stuff up, I'm alright. This too shall pass.

Relief Society is going well. Last Sunday was my first Sunday, and despite being the only one in there under the age of 35, and a near-cat fight, it was good. It'll be a good change for me, and I think it's something I need right now. I have a fear of visiting and meeting new people, so this calling with make or break me. We had our first enrichment on Tuesday, and it went well. Had an okay turnout, and got to eat ice cream, so it was really good. I went out tonight and did my first visit (to my neighbor...) Yeah, it's sad that in the 8 years  we've lived next to her, this was the first time I actually visited her. It was good though. She was super nice, and it was a good first step for me. Who cares if it took a few tries to get me over there.

Anyway...that's about all that's going on here. I'm tired...and have another long work week ahead of me. Can't wait! When i can figure out how to get my pictures to my computer I'll post some pics.

Well I will get to be with you in RS now so I guess there will be 1 other person in there under 35 (barely:). It was good to visit and if you need some practice visiting you can always come by my house.
