LONG POST AHEAD!

Alright, first....I GOT A JOB! haha...I have been 'trying' for the past 2+ years to get a job (okay, not really trying too hard until the past year or so!) Well, I have applied to about 20 jobs via email, and didn't hear anything. Finally I got a call one morning from a guy from one of the banks I applied at. He wanted to do a phone interview, so I went ahead and did it. After the phone interview he said that they'd let me know by Tuesday (it was Thursday when he called) After I got off the phone, I just felt so calm and peaceful. For the past few months I've been feeling on edge and really...I don't even know how to explain it, but it kinda sucked to be honest with ya...lol...But after that I felt SO CALM. Well, Tuesday came, and I was up at 8 in the am WAITING for the call...lol...well, Greg went to work at 4:30, and about 4 we were sitting there talking about how frustrating it was and I just started crying. I was SOOO frustrated because that was the ONLY contact that I'd had in the past 2 years. Well, Greg goes to work, and about 4:35 I get a call from the place wanting to do a second interview! I WAS SOOOO EXCITED! But also super nervous. I had Greg give me a blessing because I just wanted to do well, and have the confidence that I'd been lacking. I thought the interview went REALLY well. The manager is from Wyoming (rawlins) so we were able to talk and joke about how great it was. I didn't know how I felt about the interview. There's always so many things I wish I'd said once I left, but I'm sure that's how it is for everyone. But he told me he would let me know by Friday.

So, Friday came and went, and needless to say, I was pretty upset. Back to the beginning! So I sent out about 5 more applications that day....Well, the next thursday I woke up at about 8, and I looked at my phone to see what time it was. My phone had no service, and it wouldn't show me the time. I had to look at the world clock to see, but decided to just go back to sleep. I woke up at about 11:30 and my phone still had no service...so I got out of bed, and restarted it. Once it pulled up it showed I had a voicemail, so I checked it thinking it was one of the other places I had just applied to. To my SURPRISE, it was the first guy I intereviewed with saying, "I just talked to Danny, and I have some good news for you." Oh my heck, I couldn't stop smiling! I was so excited, so I called him back, and I got the job. I don't know if I was just too impatient and I thought he might the Friday before, or the next Friday...or maybe they offered it to the other two (there were only 3 interviews) and they didn't want it...lol, but I don't care either way. I got the job, and I'm SOOO excited about it. It's at a bank, and I have a great shift, and only have to work every other Saturday. I'm super excited, and I know that this will be a good job for me. The Lord knows what is best for me and Greg, and even if it took this long, and though I would get frustrated, I knew that we would be okay. It's really not like I HAVE to get a job, but it will help. So I can't wait. I start tomorrow and have to do training in SLC this week. We'll see how it goes. I'm nervous/excited/anxious! I hope it goes well! :D

(oh, and this is a total side note, but in the past week since I accepted the job, I heard back from TWO other places I applied!! What the heck?!? oh well....at least I know that 2 other people who need jobs will get those jobs!) But thanks for all your thoughts and prayers! I'll let you know how it goes!!

Georgia Trip - Part 6

Alright, this is the last...haha...

My flight home was just as wonderful as my flight to Georgia...except I had a nasty cold and was feeling sick to my stomach....But my flight from Atlanta to Denver was pretty good. We were in the biggest plane I've been in. There was a completely separate section for 1st class...lol, but the TV also had a lot more options, so I watch "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" the whole way. Pretty exciting! In Denver I had a pretty long layover. I actually got in from ATL in time to catch an earlier flight to SLC, but that would have been pointless, so I just waited. There was a totally creepy guy there that kept following me. I was sitting at the end of a row, and this dude came and sat across from me but a couple seats down. Then I got up to use the restroom, and when I came back someone had taken my seat, so I sat on the same row, but the the next section over. El Creepo got up and moved to the end of the section he was on, but was closer to me. I must have given him a funny look because he said, "Sorry" when I looked at him. hmmm...then he kept moving around and looking at me weird. It was kinda creepy....But that was the end of that. LUCKILY we weren't on the same flight! UGH! That would have sucked...haha...But it was great to fly into SLC and to be able to see Greg again. I get homesick really easy, and even though I had the kids to keep my mind off of it, I was REALLY glad to be home and see my hubby.

It was such a fun trip! We didn't do a lot of adventurous things, not a lot of sight-seeing, but it's okay. The most fun I had was chasing the kids up and down the stairs. Lilli is such a cutie...even though she can be a total stinker, she has such a unique and creative mind. I just love her. Aidan and Alex were so much fun too! Alex is just like Lilli, so he can get pretty animated. He would take off up the stairs, and I'd come up behind him and say, "I'm gonna get you!" And he'd scream and try to go faster. It was so funny. Aidan is a little bit quieter, but he is still just as cute and as fun. He ALWAYS had to have my phone, and if I would put the phone up to his ear he'd start chatting away. There was one night Ben called and Shari put it on speaker phone so he could talk to the kids, and Aidan just talked away. It was so cute. I loved sitting on the landing while the boys would crawl up the stairs. They'd go into Lilli's room and I'd say, "Where's Alex? Where's Aidan?" and they would scream, and peek their heads out of the door...they are just super cute. I love all of their different personalities. I'm glad they're a little bit closer so I can so see them a little bit more. I just love them...and btw...I am Lilli's favorite aunt! She told me...and then I proved it when I went to Cokeville to see them. She was in Kenzie's arms, and I said, Lilli, who's your favorite aunt? And she immediately perked up and came into my arms! and the boys both love me too!!! It's a tough job being the favorite aunt, but...what can I say? I do a good job! :D Anyway...here are just a couple more pics from my trip that cracked me up!

He was going crazy with the spaghetti!
She would say, "take a picture of me" and then she wouldn't even look at me! little stinker! Lol
I just love this little boy! He's such a cutie!
haha! What a nerd! I love it!
Thanks Shari (& Ben) for letting me come visit! I had a BLAST staying up late talking and hanging out! Love you guys!

Georgia Trip - Part 5

Whew...Almost done! ;)

Monday we went to the park on base and let the kids run around and play. When we first showed up, there were people there, and Lilli said, "Oh, my friends are still here!" lol, she is a funny girl!! But she had a blast playing with the other kids her age there. Then a lady with some dogs was there and Lilli had to pet the does...it was pretty funny. Here are some pics of the kiddos playing.

i LOVE this picture of Alex....he is the happiest little guy, and I just love his big ol' smile!

This is my fave of Lilli too.

Love this of Aidan too!

Fun stuff! After the park we went to Augusta to do some shopping. We just hit Old Navy where Shari picked up some super cute clothes for herself and the kids. While she was in trying on clothes, I had Lilli and the boys and we were just walking around. I stopped to look at some things, and I look over and this is what Lill is doing.....

It was HILARIOUS!!!! She is such a nerd. Funny thing real quick, that morning before we left I had just gotten ready and was getting the boys ready, and Lilli comes out of the bathroom with a toothbrush scrubbing her forehead, and says, "Sorry Breanne for using your makeup." lol, sure enough she had gotten my eyeliner and drew on her eyebrows. It was pretty funny. You can see the mark in some of the pictures. Funny!

And the boys were just as cute as ever...throwing teddy grahams on the floor...Love them!

After shopping we at at Chili's where the service was 100 times better than at Red Robin. Lilli constantly cracks me up. The manager stopped by our table to ask how our food was, and Lilli starts this big ol' conversation with him. "Hi my name's Lilli, what's your name?" "These are my brothers." "My daddy's an airman." It was funny. She's just got the cutest personality and everyone just loves her! It was a great day....

Georgia Trip - Part 4

I'm slowly catching up...

just remembered...so, Saturday Lilli had a primary activity, so we packed up an drove the 10 minutes to the church. They were doing a boot-camp type of thing (surprise surprise..lol...you'd never guess we were in a military area!) Anyway...in one of the rooms they were in I was sitting on the floor with Aidan watching Lilli...I went to stand up and I noticed the floor was wet, and then I felt my butt was wet...umm..yeah, apparently someone had thrown up in there and I sat on it! GROSS!!! (though I *believe* they cleaned it up before I did..but still!)

anyway... Sunday was a fun relaxing day. Church wasn't until 1 (i think) so we didn't have to rush in the morning to get ready. But church was yet another adventure. The boys did not want to sit still...haha, luckily we had nearly the entire bench to ourselves. It wasn't too bad though. It's always interesting to go to different wards. There were definitely some interesting people there. Shari had warned me about one, and as soon as she started talking, I knew EXACTLY who it was...lol...quite funny. The other funny part about church..umm...80% of the women there were pregnant...and VERY pregnant at that...I thought Utah was bad! Must be something in the nasty water there! (It really is nasty water...but okay if you have it with ice!) Anywho...so yeah...here are pics of the boys after church. Aren't they cute? I wish I had a pic of Lilli. Shari curled her hair and she looked so cute!

That night we went over to Shari's friend's house where we had some super delicious blueberry pancakes. Some of their other friends were there as well, so Lilli had fun playing with all the kids. Once we read a story and scriptures, the kids were put down. Then the adults played Quelf..."Quelf in the Land of the Farm!" Okay, I didn't really play. Me...doing stupid things in front of people..let alone people I don't know...yeah, I just watched, but it was still fun. And that night Aidan took his first lots of steps. He had been kinda walking, but only about a step or too, but he walked all the way from Shari over to me clear across the room. Yay!! (Now he's walking around like crazy, but at the time it was exciting!)

Georgia Trip - Part 3

So...Saturday night we decided to go eat at Red Robin. What an adventure that was!! When we first walked in there was an older couple standing there waiting, and they had been playing at those one machines where you try and get a stuffed animal...Well, they had gotten one and gave it to Lilli, which turned out to be a good thing because it kept the boys entertained while we waited to be seated. Once we were seated...our waiter took FOREVER to do everything, which wasn't fun...then trying to feed the boys was quite fun too. I don't remember which one I had, but he wouldn't eat anything! lol, he just wanted to play with his food and make a mess. I don't know how Shari ever would do it without help! It was pretty tough just handling the one boy, I can't imagine how it would be to take care of all three....lol, but it was still fun. It was fun to just watch how they all acted...even if they were stinkers. After waiting FOREVER for the check, Shari told me to take Lilli and Alex out to the van. (PS...if you're a waiter/waitress, and you have a table that has 3 cranky kids under the age of 4...don't take your sweet time getting the food, or the check, etc! Just use common sense! lol) Anyway...so apparently it rained a little while we were in eating, because there were puddles everywhere. I decided to let Lilli splash around in the puddles until Shari and Aidan came out. She had SOOOO much fun...(and gave me a few scares....the main road was right by the parking lot..with grass separating, but Lilli saw a big puddle right on the edge of the road and took off after it! She did that more than once too...) But she still had a blast, and Alex thought it was the funniest thing ever. She would jump and splash me so I would scream and Alex would just bust up laughing. It was so fun. Here are a few pictures.

I love her smile. She had a BLAST!

So much fun!

That night was bath time...The kids LOOOOOVE bath time, and they are so stinkin' cute, I had to get some pictures!

Alex was so funny, he had his eyes closed and was totally loving it!

Very cute!

Georgia Trip - Part 2

Well, after a LOOOONG day 1, I was looking forward to sleeping in! Little did I know that Lilli would come into the room SUPER early!!! After ignoring her, I was able to go back to sleep for a little while only to be woken up a little later by the boys chatting away. It was a good wake-up, but I was still EXHAUSTED! But it's okay. It was all worth it. With the boys sleeping most of the day, it was fun to be able to play with them when I could...even if it meant waking up at 6:30 (my time!) I don't remember all the exact details of each day, so I'll just summarize and highlight the high points....there could be a lot of pictures in this post. I didn't take many pictures the first couple of days, but I have a lot from the last few.

Wednesday & Thursday I don't think we did too much. We did go to Shari's friend's house on Wednesday, and we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, so I was able to see a LITTLE of the Grovetown area. The first thing I noticed were all the trees! Tall trees! It was way cool. I can't even imagine how pretty it is there in the summer when everything doesn't look...well...dead...haha...It also rained pretty much the entire time I was there. Which I also loved! I love rain, and these rain storms were crazy cool. Wednesday it was raining and the wind was blowing, and the power went out. It was out for quite a while too, until we finally decided to find the flashlights...and as soon as we did, the power came back on.

Friday we took a trip to Augusta to go to Target. It's not too far of a drive, but is SO pretty! Trees line the highway/freeway...it reminded me of the short trip I took in from Springfield, MO to West Plains, MO. It was raining then too, and was GORGEOUS!!! We walked around Target for a while...Lilli is a hoot! She had to touch EVERYTHING...it was quite comical, and if you've ever seen the MAD TV Dot and ADD...that is totally how Lilli is. She has to touch everything and has an attention span of about 5 seconds. But she's cute and I still love her! It's just really funny to actually watch her act like that. Way funny. Here are a couple of pics from this day...

Cute little Aidan. He always had to have either keys, or my cell phone in his hands at all times. and I love this face that he makes..right before breaking into his big ol' cute smile!
Lilli, "Take a picture of me Aunt Breanne." At least she is looking at the camera...lol..just wait and see how she is...
Alex...ahhh, I love this little boy...he's the happiest kid ever. A little stinker though (just like his big sis!)
We were in Target and this cute little boy was playing the PS. Lilli, of course, went up to him and asked if she cute play. He was SO cute and tried to tell her how to play by showing her which buttons to push. He was super cute...

When we first got to Target, it was a little cloudy outside, nothing major, but when we were done shopping, it was POURING rain!! Crazy rain! Of course none of the kids had jackets, so we had to run to the van, and by the time we got there, we were all soaked! The kids loved it though. Any chance to go outside, and Lilli of course LOVES playing in water/rain, so she really enjoyed it, and wanted to stop and jump in puddles. It really was crazy though. I don't think I've ever seen it rain so hard!
I don't know if you can tell, but his hair is soaking wet.
and Alex has water dripping down his face.
And Lilli wanted another picture...haha...(I did it in black and white because she had major red eye, and I was too lazy to try and fix it!) But she's still super cute!
Here we are at Wal-Mart...I stayed in the van with the kids so we didn't have to get them out in the rain again. It was so pretty, and those trees are just a small portion of how many trees there are there.
hmmm...yeah, so that's enough for right now! I'll post more later...but it was fun, and I have to say that I love that Georgia rain!!!

Georgia Trip - Part I

I'm not exactly sure how many "parts" there will be to this...but there could be a few, considering how long it took me to write this much! :D But...I need to write it down before I forget, since I don't really keep a journal. But...

I had a BLAST!!! I have never been very far East (furthest was Missouri), furthest south...well, I don't really know! I pretty much have spent 99.9% of my lifetime in Wyoming/Idaho/Utah, so this was a fun change! Plus I got to see some super cute kids (and my sister) that I haven't seen since last August. Since Ben has been gone, my sister decided she needed some help taming her wild children...or at least have another adult in the house so she didn't go crazy talking to herself! lol (jk!) So I was really glad I was able to go visit her for a week.

My flight was a 6:45 in the a.m. on the 9 of March (holy crap! has it really been that long?!?). Greg and I went to bed early the night before and got up at 3:30 in the a.m. to drive to SLC. I have never flown by myself before, so I wanted to make sure we got there in plenty of time....which we did! lol. It wasn't really that bad waking up that early...but I did get there plenty early so I had plenty of time to find my gate. I stuffed everything in a carry-on so I wouldn't have to worry about my luggage. Yeah, that was a challenge! But Shari told me I could use all her stuff (ie, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc!) So that was nice not to have to pack any of that. Well, I had 3 layovers, and I was SUPER nervous that I would miss my flights because I only had like 30 minutes between each stop, and since I've never flown, I really didn't know what to expect as far as how far I'd have to go to get to my next gates.

Well, my first flight took me to Denver, and when we took off...lol, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I LOVE LOVE LOVE flying, so I had to try my hardest not to smile and look like a total dork, since the dude next to me flew all the time. But I loved it. I had window seats on all my flights, so I got to look out the window whenever I wanted. That was super...and the free drinks and pretzels only added to the excited! The first flight seemed to go by SOOO fast! Luckily we landed in gate 32, and my next flight was 34, so I just had to walk like 20 feet to get to my next check-in, which also meant I had plenty of time to use the bathroom, since I'm too scared to use airplane toilets...(not that airport ones are better...lol, but I'd take those over plane!) The nice thing about short layovers is I didn't have to sit and wait forever for my next flight. I literally had time to get off plane #1, find and use the bathroom, and get back to my next gate and they were boarding. Very nice!

My next flight (Denver to Atlanta) was on a larger plane, the largest I've been on (when I went to missouri for nationals, the planes were all small, first had 2 seats on each side, second has 1 and 2) SO I was pretty stoked about this larger plane...3 seats on each side!! plus they had tvs. There was just me and one other guy, so I had the window seat, and he took the aisle seat. PLENTY OF ROOM! There was nothing good on the TV though, so I just listened to music and read. I fell asleep for a little while, but not too long. My favorite part was there was this map tracker thing on the tv that showed how far/fast/altitude/etc. we were going. Yeah, that entertained me! Again I only had like a 30 minute layover, but luckily before the flight took off they told us what gate we would be flying into, and then they had an airport map so I could kind of figure out where to go. I actually had a ways to go this time, so I had to take the train...exciting! (not really!) Again, arrived in time to use the bathroom, and I maybe sat for a few minutes, but not too long...Then off to Augusta...

On another small plane, and I would have had the row to myself if the chick next to me had taken her right seat!! Some people!!! (jk, it wasn't bad!) It was like a 30 minute flight is all, so it wasn't bad. I arrived in the smallest airport I've ever been in, and walked in and out in like 5 minutes...It was warm outside, so I decided to wait outside for Shari. By this time I was getting pretty tired. But finally they all got to the airport, and it was so fun to see the kids and how much they had changed. Lilli had a cold, and her eyes were pretty swollen, but she was still excited to see me. The boys were just as cute as ever. They looked the same, just bigger....I don't really remember if we did anything that night. I don't think we did. Just hung out at the house and played with the kiddos. By the end of the day, I was exhausted after having been awake since 3:30 in the a.m. but I was super excited to see the kids and get to spend a whole week with them!

So this may have been a boring post, but it's more for me than you, so deal with it! :D I'll update as I feel the need!
