Harry Potter and the "Half-Blood Prince"

Seriously. If you're going to name it the Half-Blood Prince, you need to explain it! What a LAME movie. I was SO DISAPPOINTED I could cry! Seriously!

Greg and I didn't go when it was first out because A. we didn't want to wait in line, and B. we both don't like being in a theatre with a million people. So, we waited. We finally went Friday at Midnight. We were a little worried when we first showed up because there was a LINE! (what for? we really don't know! lol) But we lucked out and were only 2 of the 4 people in there. I was really excited, because I really like Harry Potter. But 1/4 of the way into the movie, I was already ticked off. I thought it was really cheesy with all the romance/crushes/whatever you wanna call it. Plus when Harry drank the lucky stuff he was totally acting DRUNK! WEIRD! Then the fact that they don't even explain the Half-Blood Prince REALLY ticked me off. I knew who it was because I've read the book, but what was the point of it, ya know? They should've just named it, "Harry Potter and the Hormonal Students of Hogwarts." Just interesting....

I am SO SAD about it STILL! I am in the process of re-reading the books, so we'll see how that goes, but yes. Very unhappy about it. I think they need to get the original director back. This latest director just makes things totally cheesy. UGH! Anyway...(of course it didn't help to have Greg rip apart every minute of the movie...haha, but I appreciate the fact that he goes to all the cheesy movies with me!) But needless to say, I will probably buy this movie, and I will probably go to the next two! lol, oh well. I'm done venting about that!

The good news is that school starts tomorrow, and GREG DOESN'T HAVE TO GO!!! YAY!!! He finally graduated from USU with degrees in Psychology, Sociology, minor in Journalism, and a Law Certificate thingy...The bad news is now he gets to take the GRE again, and eventually get into another 5-ish years of school. We'll see what happens there!

The other good news is that after months of promising me huckleberry shakes, we got to go get some last night from Arctic Circle...oh my yumminess! You HAVE to try them. They are delicious...

More good news is that it's raining. Not too long before the snow! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh...lol, and I also watch a movie I haven't seen in YEARS tonight...Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Holy cows it's been forever. I just kinda watched it (while doing other stuff on my computer!) lol, but yeah, crazy, right? The only thing I ever remembered about watching that is for a long time whenever we would go visit Grandma she had this daybed upstairs. with knobs like that. So Kandyce and I would go up there and hope that if we twisted the knob it would take us wherever we wanted...It never did, but I later inherited that bed and will always remember that about the bed...ahh..funny..

Lots more to come...someday...

Random, but cute...

So, this is a little random, but I thought it was way cute, so I thought I would share. When I was in High School, when it came to asking/answering the boys to dances, I wasn't really very creative. The extent of my creativity was stealing his car while he was at an away football game, and parking it on main street with my answer (of course he didn't see it!), or having Aubrey sing a song over the PA system (is that what it's called), or giving him a box of fat boys and writing a cheesy poem...lol, I know, I am SO CREATIVE!

Anyway, so one of the girls on my team got asked (and answered) in the most creative way, so I thought I would share! The boy showed up to her house with a baby chick (yes, it was REAL!) with a sign that said, "don't be a chicken, go to Homecoming with me!" She got to keep the chick (which later got injured via dog attack, from what I gathered!) Lol, cute right? and how did she answer? Equally if not even cuter...

She got two baby calfs...with a sign saying "don't have a cow (insert the rest of the answer here...lol)" how cute is that? The calfs were borrowed, so he didn't get to keep them (I'm sure his parents were happy about that! lol) But yeah, I just thought that was super cute, so I thought I'd share! :)

Back in town...

sadly, I am home again. I had a WONDERFUL time with my family this past week, and didn't want to come home. My sister Adrienne got married this weekend. On Tuesday she and Mark (her fiance) flew in from Philly. We haven't seen them (well her) since April when we went to California, and we haven't seen Mark (well I haven't) since last summer, so it was good to see them. The wedding was really beautiful. Adrienne looked GORGEOUS!!! and it was really great to see Mark and Adrienne get married! Mark is so good to Adrienne, and they are so happy. It was a great wedding. It was also fun to spend the week with family, and to spend time with Adrienne who we don't get to see so much anymore. We're all hoping that Mark's job will bring them back closer to family so we can see them more! I have a TON of pictures, which I will show you, but I"m so exhausted right now, I just want to sleep! :) But, as promised, I will show you Adrienne's announcements that I helped design...(Notice I said I and not some other person that some little girl tried to tell me made them...yeah, you can't tell the person who made the announcements that someone else made them! lol...I was not so happy about that...but oh well...lol...kinda funny that I happened to be the person she told..) Okay...here it is. Everything was Adrienne's idea. The colors, the design, everything. I just put it together. Can I just say that Adrienne is extremely creative?!? I can't wait to show you pictures of the DRESSES she made (without a pattern), the bows and bow ties, hair, the cake, and really everything about the wedding. She's amazing! Anyway, so here it is. I don't have the one with the wording because she did that part. But yeah. ALL her idea. The final announcement she sent out had white ribbon that wrapped around the green section on the front that attached this part to another picture of her and Mark, and all the inserts. Very cute! I loved them. Here they are:

This is the back...
The front. tilt your head left because I didn't rotate it...

Very cute! And like I said, I will post some pics later. They are cute! For now, I am to sleep so I can get up and get editing. I'm a little behind, so if you're waiting for pics, please be patient! I'm working on them as fast as I can!! :)

Anyway, it was a GREAT week, and it was great to see family and to spend time with them. I'm so happy for Adrienne and Mark! Love you guys!!
