Another September Week

Last weekend we took a trip to Star Valley to get the brakes changed on our car. It was a long drive, but we have fun. I usually sing at the top of my lungs while Greg rolls his eyes and ignores me...or turns the music up even louder.

We stopped outside of Grace to get some potatoes, and they were giving away free fries. Fresh Free Fries. Awesome! They went really well with our road trip food - Taco Bell.

It was a really pretty drive. The leaves were starting to change colors, and it was beautiful weather.

I got a new niece the same day we left. She is a beauty. My favorite part of the trip was skyping with my sister-in-law, nephew Jax, and baby Breklin. It's been a while since we've seen them, and it was so fun watching Jax and seeing his cute personality. Adrienne definitely has her hands full with him, but I also think that he will be a big protective brother to Brek (as long as he doesn't hurt her with his ninja skills first!)

I begged and begged Greg the entire trip there and back to get us Huckleberry shakes. As we were passing through Preston on the way home, he actually did stop. So sweet!

The weather has seriously been so gorgeous. It has been raining a lot which is really nice. I love that it's cooling down.

So, funny story. I always eat the same thing for lunch every day. PB&J. Well, this particular day I opened up my sandwich box to see this. I just busted up laughing. I texted a picture to Greg saying, "I don't think I'm going to eat lunch today," It really was funny.

We also bought a cotton candy maker. It's quite amazing to watch. Pretty nifty for sure!

And just some more random photos from the week. It's been super exciting.

I got to work yesterday. It was super exciting. Went by really fast, so that was awesome...And if you ever wondered what your bank teller is thinking when you show up right at close...

You'd be surprised how accurate those thoughts are!

Sunsets...

We've had quite a few gorgeous sunsets this summer, so I'd thought I'd share a few!

These ones below were taken while my family (minus greg and I) were enjoying the sunset in California... :'( But it was a gorgeous night here. Not only was there a gorgeous sunset, but it was also RAINING! *Almost* made me forget the fact that I could have been enjoying the beach!

How can you not?

What time is it, you ask?

Well...alright, so...I made a post earlier, and my sister commented to the post then at the end asked, "By the way, what time is it?" Totally confused I post on her blog, "It's 6:49." She then comments right back, of course thinking I'm retarded...something about how she was wondering about my last post. Still not getting it, and thinking she STILL meant what time I posted my last post, I say, "I just barely posted it..." Then after the post with Vi and Austin, and actually reading the post she was talking about...I finally understood...

What time is it?

HALLOWEEN!!!

Alright, so honestly, I think Halloween is a stupid holiday, but...we jump at any opportunity to decorate the house. At first I thought all the decorations were a little weird, since I hated the holiday, but after 3 years, and getting more and more decorations...I've actually kinda looked forward to decorating with Greg. We go ALL OUT. Lol...I will post more of the lights when I take some, but here are a few of our fun "family night" putting up decorations. He loves doing it, and I love helping him anyway I can..

Here's Greg putting up the lights...lol, I just love him!
...He seemed to think this was safe...
Thanks Shaina for helping us with our lights! You know you had fun!!! :)
The first one was an accident...but since it's Halloween, it can be all weird and creepy...

Alright, so here is an update on our garden...Our tomatos are turning red...YAHOO...and best yet, there are a bunch more growing that we didn't realize. And the best news yet....We have a squash growing! Now, don't laugh...it's still growing..lol, I think it's about the size of my thumb...lol..okay, not that small, but still! I think it's cute, so I took pics!

Alright, so another answer to the "what time is it" question is this...It's time for our house to fall apart..After a few weeks of no big problems on our house or car, I was talking to Greg one night on the phone when i was at a volleyball tourney, and he told me our window is leaking. When I asked if it would be hard to fix...he said probably...I got home and this is what I found. I don't know if you can really tell, but the the top of the window is totally caved in...Ahhh...the joys of being a home-owner...better yet...a MOBILE home owner...There's almost always something we need to fix either on our cars or our house...Usually I'd be a little upset...but really, what's the point? This house provides us with great shelter, and best of all, I get to live in it with the greatest man in the world. Why be upset over something so silly, right? Instead I will laugh and post pictures of it on my blog!!
I could update you on my volleyball team, but I don't really want to. HA! We did have a tourney last week, but I REALLY don't want to talk about it...It was just really long, and...i lost/someone stole my iPod, and I'm TOTALLY bummed about it! It makes me sick to think about... :( lol, oh well, I guess...But...my team is ranked 2nd in our Region behind Morgan. We play them tomorrow. Pray it will be a good game! :) lol...

Oh, in case you were wondering. All those tubs in that other post are the tubs that hold our lights...Yeah, they're ALL FULL!

Random...I know!

WARNING: Long post ahead!

Alright, so this could be a long post. First of all, my cousin Lauren had the most brilliant idea ever! She found this idea where you post one picture a day that you have taken for a WHOLE YEAR! Doesn't that sound exciting. It's just pretty much supposed to be a document of your life. How cool is that. I spent all yesterday on that blog, and the links the 3 of us who are doing it is off to the right. Be sure to check them out and leave us lots of comments! I also challenge any of you out there who want to take this challenge to do it! Let us know so we can link to you.

Second thing...I found this awesome blog website eblogtemplates.com where I found both my blog templates for my new photog site, and my new year of photos site, then I totally customized them to how I wanted, and I had SO MUCH FUN doing it! (call me a computer nerd, I don't care!) but I customized EVERYTHING on it, from headers, to backgrounds, etc. etc. So, if anyone out there is need of or wanting a new blog template, let me know. Pick out your template from that site, and let me know how you want it..(I'm being serious!) I get so bored. I changed my photog blog about 50 times I had so much fun...lol...anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Third...Here are some more pics from my Sunday adventures. If you haven't yet, scroll down to the next post and see the rest of that adventure, and try and guess what game my hubby is playing. 100$ for whoever can guess...okay, not really, but if someone actually does guess, maybe I'll give  them something cool...like a free shoot or something...(ha) ...but yeah..ENJOY!

. I love how dark it was. The clouds were so cool. They were moving and swirling so fast. It's a good thing they aren't able to get low enough to make a tornado, cuz that's what it was looking like .
. The wind was blowing so hard, and there was dust going everywhere. It was so cool .

***THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN REMOVED AND CAN BE FOUND HERE! :)***

. More dark clouds .
. There was a little blue in the sky, despite the DARK clouds! .
. Umm some green bushes? .
. This little guy I found in our bushes one day when I was mowing the lawn. It's our little Pixie friend...We now get three wishes .
. Alright, so in my last post I mentioned that Greg "kicked" me out of the house. Well, he told me to go outside and take pictures of the street lights. Here's what I got. I thought it was pretty cool actually .
. Here is a sharper version...Does it look like the moon? .
. And here are our flowers. I thought this turned out surprisingly well considering it was like 12 or 1 in the morning. NO LIGHT except a little bit from the lamp post. I was impressed it turned out so good. Not way light, but you can see what it is. (okay, so I'm weird...I know! :) .
Last thing. Any doctors out there? I have always had problems with my wrist, and the doctor I went to xrayed it and said nothing was wrong. Well, it comes and goes all the time. I don't know what it is. I can't put much pressure on it without it killing! I HATE IT! It's feeling a little better now, but I hate it. Another thing with it...Right now it really aches. Like it hurts when it just sits there, and when I touch  my hand it's like really sore to the touch. (You know how u get when you get the flu?) Does that make sense? Anyway. I think it has something to do with the cold, cuz my leg used to do it all the time last year when i worked early mornings and it was FREEZING! Is that a possibility or am I just crazy? Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts...ENJOY and dont' forget to check out our other blogs!!
