The end of April Greg and I took a quick trip to Wyoming. It was nice and rainy, and oh so beautiful!
I celebrated my 6th Work Anniversary on April 26. SIX YEARS! I can't believe it's been that long. I initially thought I'd only be there for a year, and now I'm heading into my 7th year. This job has been the best job I have ever had. I complain about it a lot, but in reality, I couldn't have asked for a better job. With all the changes in the last year, I have been overwhelmingly frustrated, to the point of tears, and nearly being sent home for arguing with my new manager, but it has been fine. It is slowly getting better, and even though I still get quite frustrated every now and then, I still don't think I could work anywhere else.
They have been amazing to work with me and my health over the last 4 years, and I couldn't be more grateful. I've learned a lot about the financial industry, and what not to do as a customer/member. I have learned to do loans, mortgages, IRA's, and have had the wonderful opportunity for the last 8 or so months to be able to do all the accounts that are applied for online. It's been a great job, and look forward to another 8 years....maybe...
Looks like Obamacare, but stands for "Online Accounts Member Service Representative Expert of All Expertise." Yes, I gave myself a title. Don't judge me!
Just some Utah drivers for you....
Had a member send me a flower through the drive thru. Sweet, right?
Then later, Kim, who worked with us a while ago, brought Steve & I cookies. She's a sweetheart!
Our latest obsession. Love this brand of ice cream and fun flavors.
Greg and I got to talk on Mother's Day. I got up and said, "I feel as though it's tradition in the church to ask the best mother in the ward to speak on Mother's Day." I'm funny. I know. We actually spoke on service.
My co-worker Caleb, who left us last year to become an assistant manager at our Murray branch, got married on May 14th. I went down to his reception with my co-worker Steve & his wife. It was fun to see Caleb again. You have no idea how much we miss him. There just isn't anyone to argue nonsense with, but luckily we have an instant messaging system, so we'll "chat" every now and then. His wife is gorgeous, and I'm so happy for them.
Fun fact, the girl in the blue dress is actually from my ward here in Logan. I've known her for the past 11 years. She was roommates with Caleb's wife. She was at our ward a couple of weeks ago, and asked me about Caleb. I laughed and told her how much I liked Caleb, and had to ask her about Brittney. Not gonna lie, I've been a bit worried about him finding a girl who loves him as much as he loves her. I think they're pretty good for each other.
And they also had this fun photo booth. I thought about taking a picture solo, but felt a little silly. The last photo, I'm making that face because Steve & Kaye were totally trying to make out behind me.
It was a good evening, and I'm glad I was able to go.

End of March, Beginning of April
March 27th was Easter Sunday. While everyone was posting pictures of their cute kiddos, I took this one of mine. He has to get up early to go to High Council meetings, then has a little time between his other meetings. I did have to wake him up to help me, so I felt a little bit bad about that.
It was also my baby brother Kennan's 19th birthday. He is currently serving an LDS mission in Orlando, Florida. I still can't believe he is that old. Seriously, whenever I have dreams with him in them, he is still just a little boy. It's crazy he's all grown up and has already been out 8 months.
And my sister sent me this cute picture of her kids on Easter Sunday, as well as the cutest video of Myka twirling in her skirt. Love these little cuties!
This just shows how excited I am about the snow (and how awesome my hair is!)
So, funny story. Our regional manager comes up on occasion, and occasionally his boss is with him. So this particular day both of them were there, and I was in talking with Mike, and Kevin knocks on the door to interrupt, and brings in this sweet lady that I had helped the day before with a few IRA's (because I'm the "IRA expert"...Cole...) Anyway, she handed me this card, and thanked me for helping her and her husband. It was the sweetest thing, and let's me honest, her timing couldn't have been better. I love those parts of what I do. I am grateful that I am one of the few who knows IRA's so I can sit down and spend literally an hour talking with and getting to know sweet people like her, then running out in the snow & wind to sit in the car while her husband signs papers. Those days usually outweigh the less than awesome days. I couldn't have asked for a better job, well, unless there was a job that allowed me to get paid to stay home, or to be on the beach all day. ;)
General Conference was that next weekend, and it was pretty fantastic. I love hearing the leaders of our church speak. There were some pretty amazing talks, and I'm glad I was able to listen to them all.
In between the Saturday sessions, we did some cleaning, and Greg found this picture of me & my "German Friend" Jana from my senior year of high school. The year we had only 7 people on my team, and one of them was her, someone who had never played basketball before. But it was honestly my favorite year. I loved all the girls on the team, and we had some great memories (like beating Encampment at home)....Yeah, that was pretty fantastic. Or the time I swore in German (having learned that from a German foreign exchange student the year before, and Jana gasping at me. Some fun times. I'm sad that I lost touch with her.
We made our semi-annual trip to get ice cream. This time we went to Coldstone, where we spend way too much money on ice cream, but we had a great time together.
Mom stopped by and brought me this Lemonade Frosty treat thing. It was quite delicious, and was good to see her. Thanks Mom!
Apparently April 13th is National Peach Cobbler Day, so naturally you have to make Peach Cobbler, even if it's 10:30 at night.
And lastly, they were doing some updates on our work website, and under my profile i had to laugh when it said "Breanne reports to Nobody"....Muah hahahaha....my plan is finally successful. And yes, I did put that as my personal information, because I'm cool like that!

The best part about March/April is that it still snows! And sometimes it snows quite a bit. It's pretty fantastic.

April, April, April
Well, the first of April was April Fool's Day. Now had things gone a different way, I had an excellent prank to do on Steve, however, I couldn't do it. so we did the next best thing. We've been cleaning out all the supply rooms, and in our back one there is a whole bunch of crap. So, what do you do when there is a whole bunch of crap that is not being used? Pull it all out and put it all over your co-workers desk. We thought about having someone hide under the table cover, which, let's face it, would have been hilarious, however then wanted me to do it, and it just wouldn't have been good. I had Steve and Kim help me set this up at Caleb's station so he had fun cleaning it all up.
Then, when Steve went to lunch, we moved all of the same crap over to his desk. We are so funny. He was so certain that we wouldn't do it to him. Psh....So "Gull-able". (Seagulls are like our mascot or something. They aren't ducks, even though that's what everyone things they are. I however see a pineapple on our logo every time I drive to work.)
Steve loves us!
That weekend was General Conference, so we of course, due to tradition, had to go get a shake from Arctic Circle. This was the first year we have been in and out in under 10 minutes. Most the time it's upwards of 45 minutes. It was awesome!
Just some pictures of the Logan temple. I love it!
Things with my Etsy shop are going really well. No I'm not making millions yet. I need to do better marketing myself, and I could probably charge more, but I love what I do. One of my customers requested a "Roadmap to Retirement" for one of her coworkers. It was so much fun to do. I'll have to post the entire thing, since I also did a chalkboard infographic as well. I loved them both, and even though they definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, I love custom requests!
The absolute best part about April was the SNOW! That's right, we FINALLY got snow! It was amazing, and it just snowed and snowed and snowed. It didn't stick to the road either, which was awesome, but it snowed for about 2 days straight. I loved it, and was just about the only person in the entire world who did.
And I think that's about it for now. I need to upload the rest of my April photos, so I'll be back soon!

Funny story, I was bored at work so I emailed this to my coworkers (I do this often), and said "Caleb,
guess who this is about?" I kid you not, not even half an hour later
that member came in. It was awesome. I wish I could tell you the whole
story, but basically a member was trying to add stuff on paper and it
wasn't adding up to what Caleb's calculator said, but the member wouldn't
have it. Finally he just told her she needed to get a calculator. We laughed.

Halfway Through August
I kicked off August in the hospital. I had a Right Heart Catheterization that you can read all about {here}. That was an exciting adventure. It was quick, easy, and I got to lay in a hospital for about 5 hours. I survived with just a tiny stab wound.
One of our August highlights happened late at night, as Greg and I were reading before bed I noticed a spider on the wall. Now, let the record show that all I said was, "There is a spider." I did not freak out, or scream. I literally said that and it was done. Greg is the one who shot up and then proceeded to strip the bed in search of Mr. Spider. We had to take the entire mattress off before finding the little guy and giving him a swirly. It was late, I was tired, but it was funny.
Greg got to start school early. He actually started going in towards the last part of July, but I officially had to start dropping him off, and picking him up about two weeks ago. I can't believe it's already school again. What happened to summer?
So, as you know, I love my job, however that doesn't mean that sometimes I get extremely frustrated and just want to quit. The reasons for me being so frustrated probably wouldn't make any sense to anyone, so who knows if I ever get into it. I might over on my Sclero-what? blog, but I don't know. I'm still torn as to how I really feel. Love my co-workers, and the job itself. Just.....frustrated!
Anyway, after one of our morning meetings, I was ranting to Greg about it, and since he very rarely just lets me complain, he sent me this text:
He's the best!!
I've spent a lot of time this summer out on our porch swing. I spend so much dang time indoors, and it's quite difficult for me to do anything outside alone, so the porch has been a great place for me to go and relax. Of course, I still have to have Greg nearby as I can't quite get out of the swing by myself. It's been great though.
This last Thursday we had our Relief Society activity. We did an ice cream social to celebrate the end of summer. We had a decent turnout, which is always nice. It was fun talking with the older sisters. They have some great stories and personalities.
And Greg got to be my big helper this activity. Thanks hun!
Let's see. Controversial topics coming soon...

Just kidding. We'll have to see what type of mood this week brings, I do have some thoughts on motherhood that I'd like to share....
