One of my favorite things about the co-workers I have had over the last few years, is they still want to get together every now and then for dinner. Those of us still working at the credit union met up with Kim and Cole on night at a newer restaurant in Logan called Even Stevens. Food was interesting, but I rather enjoyed my sandwich. Company was excellent. I love those people that I have worked with, and I miss the ones that have left lots. It's good to see them every now and then. It's just too mad Caleb isn't closer to join us on occasion.
I actually convinced Greg to go with me. He loves hanging out with people.
I totally felt hipster after eating here. Not that I really know whawt hipster means...I guess I could google it.
"Hipsters are people who enjoy clothing, music, food and activities considered outside of the social mainstream."
There ya go. Totes Hipster!
May 27th was our 11th anniversary. Seems like forever, but has also flown by. I couldn't imagine life without him. It'd be totally boring...or more adventurous...probably a combination of the two. Needless to say, I still love him lots.
"Don't 'fudge' it up"
Our anniversary falls on Memorial weekend most of the time, so I took the next Tuesday off as well just to spend some time with Greg. I still don't think it's fair that he gets summers off, and I get to work. Oh well. Such is life. Maybe someday!
Anyway, we went to "Allegiant". Good movie, but I was disappointed to learn that there is a part 2! Ugh, for reals! Well, I think there is a part 2. There better be because it did not cover all that was in the book.
The NBA Finals were on, so Greg had to make sure the Warriors were going to pull ahead to move on to the Championship.
Greg working on the swamp cooler. Ugh, I swear this place causes more issues than what it's worth! JK, I am grateful for a great place to live that only costs us $280/month (which I still feel is way too much), but at least we can sell it if we ever decide to leave this place.
Grateful that he is willing to help the Relief Society clean the church. Take pressure off of me, as I have a harder time doing stuff like this. He's the greatest.
One Tuesday we had a chiropractor and massage therapist come to the CU where we all got free massages. Holy moly it was amazing. I need one of those at least once a day!
I am obsessed with getting my hair done. Granted, it helps that I love my hairstylist. We always have such a fun time together. We went a little more burgundy w/ some teal underneath. (Teal for Scleroderma awareness) We also cute it a little shorter. It's been fantastic. I love it!
The final results....
My sister and her family are here from Texas, so they came to Logan one day where we went out to eat during my lunch break. Here I am with McKenzie and my favorite niece Lilli.
Back in March, my good friend Melanie moved out to Providence. Not only was she a great friend, but she was also my Relief Society Activity Board Chairperson. She was AMAZING. I never questioned if things would get done, and she always went above and beyond. She basically did the activities by herself, as I was very little help. Now, of course I miss her more as a friend right around the corner, but I also miss her help with the activities.
We only do them every 3 months, but in the last 3 months she has not been replaced. I had a very great debate as to whether I should host an activity in June or not. I decided to go with it, and kept it very simple with an Ice Cream Social.
Greg was a huge help, and did quite a bit for me. (Also, can we talk about Hobby Lobby? I honestly think I could live there. Not even kidding! Made me want to plan parties all the time!)
After getting supplies we stopped by the carwarsh. One of our favorite things to do together...mostly because he likes to spray me.
So we have become obsessed with Red Button Ice Cream. Instead of just doing vanilla with lots of toppings, we went with a variety of flavors. 9 to be exact. They included, Key Lime Pie, Cotton Candy, Huckleberry Pie, Raspberry Lemonade, Raspberry Cheesecake, Vanilla, Animal Cookies, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake, and Peach.
I won't get into how there were complaints that I didn't have "their favorite kind." Honestly, I love my calling, but people are just never happy. Frustrates the heck out of me. Also, we only had 15 people show. So, was it a waste of time? I don't know. It kind of felt like it.
Maybe I'll just forego our next meeting. See how many complaints we can get. But it was fun to spend time in the kitchen with Greg anyway, sampling all the flavors. He's the coolest.

From UT to AZ...
So, the trip started Monday, September 15. Mom picked me up after work and we started our trip.
After a quick stop to clean the crazy dirty, bug splattered windshield, we were on our way. We were staying at my sister Kandyce's house that night and having Clay take us to the airport in the morning.
I got to see my adorable nephew Liam, who used to be a total cranky pants, but has turned into the cutest, funniest little guy.
We played with all his fun toys...
...and showed us his cool tricks.
I didn't know before hand, but my oldest sister was coming from Nebraska with one of her friends to attend a DoTerra convention (yes, my sister is one of "those people" ;) so it was good to see her too. We watched Austenland while Liam bounced around all happy and crazy. (Like I said, he's normally a grouch, so it was fun to see him all cute-like.)
The next morning we got up bright and earliy-ish so we could make it to the airport. One great thing about living in Utah is all the temples within such a small area. Love them.
We even drove past my work's operation center, so it was basically like I went to work. I should get paid.
When we got to the airport, I got to ride in one of these fun things. I felt a little silly, but our terminal was quite a ways away, so I'm sure it was okay.
When we got on the plane, after we had all kind of settled in, one of the airline dudes gets on the intercom and says, "Who's going to the One Direction concert?" I don't know why I thought I would have been the only one, but I was kind of surprised to hear a bunch of other girls scream. I guess I'm not the only weirdo willing to fly to go to a concert.
The flight was great. I really love flying. If I could, I'd do it more often. Seriously. I love it.
The flight was nice and short, and before I knew it, we were touching down in Arizona.
PS. I was expecting it to be super duper hot, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too bad. Sure it was still in the 90's, but not in the 100's like it had been the days prior. I even got to experience some Arizona rain (you know, because rain is different everywhere you go!)

I was lucky to have my mom take this trip with me. For some reason Greg didn't want to go with me and watch me scream at barely legal hotties. But we had a lot of fun, and I'm glad she was able to go with me.

A Wedding
I posted this over on my daily blog...but in case you don't read it. Here it is!
My little sister got married today...Kinda crazy! I still think she's the little 8 year old I remember her as. But I guess we've got to grow up sometime. Anyway. her reception was last night, so I got off work early and headed up with Brady. Shari, Ben and their kids were there, and Kandyce, Clay and Liam were there too, so I got to see the kiddos. Alex was a grump and kept giving me the stink eye, but Aidan and Lilli were super excited to see me (even if Lilli did call me Brittney). But when I first got there, Shari, Kandyce and I showed Kenz what we got her for her wedding night. Lots of fun stuff! Then we all just kind of laid low for a while.
I took Kenz and Kyler in a little before the reception to take a few pictures. I'll have to get them from my mom and dad, because I think they turned out super cute. Then we headed to the reception. It was good to see a lot of the Cokeville people that I don't see as much any more (Boyers, Birches, etc!) plus family (Grandma, Uncle Don, Uncle Stan, Trevor & baby Chloe, Michaela, etc). It was just a lot of fun seeing and talking to people, and cuddling with my cute niece and nephews.
I came back to Logan that night with Kandyce & Clay who were staying in Wellsville so we didn't have to wake up early and fight for showers. The wedding was at the Logan temple at noon, so I got to sleep in a bit. The wedding was really nice, and even though it was weird seeing my baby sis kiss her groom over the alter, I'm really happy for them. Kyler is a super nice guy, and they make each other happy.
It was also great seeing even more family and friends at the temple -- Aunt Kathy & Heather, Aunt Laurel, Aunt Pat, Haley, Cassidy, and Emily, Aunt Korena & Savannah (holy gorgeousness!), Aunt Gayle & Uncle Robert, Aunt Meg & Uncle Larry, and I'm sorry if I forget anyone! It makes me excited for the next wedding, where hopefully I'll get to see more friends & family.
Anyway, I'll maybe post more about the wedding later, and when I have some pics to show. But it was a beautiful day, and I'm very happy for my sis and new brother! Love you guys!
Here are some pics that our friend Karla took at the reception. Yes, they are all of me...but it's my blog! Deal with it! :)

She hung onto me quite a bit over the weekend. I didn't mind too much...Love my little Lilli Bug.
I kinda really want that camera.
Playing peek-a-boo.
Giving baby Liam kisses...I love his ears poking out...He's such a cutie.
Talking with one of my favorite women. She is such a beautiful lady, inside and out.
Okay...here's one of the cute couple. Yes he is a cowboy...and is about a foot taller than McKenzie. We still think he's great! ;)

Patience!
What personality trait would you like to adopt?
Patience…or the ability to not freak out over little things that happen. Patience is something I pray for everyday…patience in my job, with my husband, with people I work with, etc. I’m obviously failing quite miserably, because I have to keep praying for it. But I just envy those who let little things slide off their shoulders like it’s no big deal. I try to…but then things build up and build up, and eventually EVERY little thing is a big deal. Not cool. So that’s a trait that I wish I had.
--------------------------------------------
I was able to go to the temple today. My baby sister is getting married, so she went through today…CRAZY!! It’s just crazy to think she is old enough to get married. It was a good day though. We were able to go out to lunch with my family that was there (mom, dad, Kandyce & Clay, Brady & Ashbee, and McKenzie) plus Kyler’s family. It was good to spend time with them and see them. I can’t wait until the wedding so the rest of the family (ie, the niece and nephews) will all be there.

a hike, the airport, birthdays & bowling
So, if you're my friend on facebook, you've probably seen these pics, but for those of you who aren't, and who care...here are some older pics.

she claimed she had something in her eye, but I think she just didn't want to walk.
We took a walk over to what we call "the airport". It is in the field next to Gram's house, and why we called it that...I really don't know, but we had a lot of fun out here. We had cups and all sorts of different thing to play house with, and guess what...they're all still there...lol, it was pretty funny. We always had so much fun out there and thought it was the coolest thing ever!! (yes, it is a bunch of rocks!)
Later that night we head over the Montpelier to go birthday. It was Kennan's birthday, and Brady's birthday was three days later, so that's how we celebrated.
Lilli had so much fun bowling. Despite the fact that it took 20 minutes for the ball to get to the pins...it was still fun. She was super cute.
Aidan wanted to participate...poor little guy!
Shari bowling
Alex & Kennan...
Kennan thought he was pretty cool

Slow-motion bowling (I sometimes don't claim them!)
Papa keeping Aidan happy.
Something sure was FUNNY!
Finally Aidan got a turn! He was so happy....
I let Alex have a turn too...lol, he was pretty funny...both the boys seemed to know where they weren't supposed to go, because they'd take off and get as close as they could to the bowling lane before someone caught them...they thought it was pretty hilarious! What cute kids they are!
So those were the my adventures from a couple of weeks ago...
and this is random, but Kennan didn't even tell me about this...So, Santa gave Kennan some Jazz vs Suns (my fave team) tickets for Christmas, and the game was April 14 i think....Well, they showed up early and went down courtside to see if they could get some autographs....and Kennan got STEVE NASH'S autograph (he's my fave player)....and Kennan didn't even tell me! How totally unfair is that? I think I'm going to have to steal it from him!!!
Anywho....so yeah, that's a bit of an update...Things here are good. Work is good. Training was 4 days of super boringness, but it wasn't too horrible! Friday was my first day at the branch here, and let's just say I made a really good impression!! I'll update this a little more later...but it's going good so far, so I'm glad about that! :D...So yeah...that's all!
Kennan's 13th birthday was March 27, so I headed to Cokeville for his big birthday bash. Shari and the kids are home for the summer, and since I hadn't seem them in OVER A WEEK! I was excited to get to play with them again. We had a blast as always...the kids just love me! hehe...anyway...when the boys went down for their nap (I hate naptime!) Brady, Lilli and I decided to go on a hike behind the house. It's been a long time since I've been back there, but it was fun. Here are a few pics of our adventure.

So...apparently McKenzie has some boyfriends from all over who send her lots of stuff. Well she got this package from a boy from a certain town where I'm sure all us cokeville girls had a boyfriend or two from...But inside was this shirt (that totally smelled like cologne!) and some ring pops. We decided to have Lilli try it on..
