Suddenly reminded...

of how much I hate doing dishes... <---sigh---> Our dishwasher is like 500 years old, and hasn't been cleaning the dishes on the top rack very well, so I have been having to wash them...BY HAND!! lol, just kidding, it's not horrible, but it sure makes you appreciate having a dishwasher...Plus I'd rather wash them by hand than spend money to buy a dishwasher...

hmm..nothing going on around here...maybe taking a trip this weekend...but that's still up in the air. Still have over 1000 pictures to go through, but it's fun, so I don't mind. And Mel, I looked through  Wyatts pics again and there are a LOT of cute ones. I'll get some new ones up really soon!

Life Without my Baby...

Yes...it's true. I am going on 4 days without my computer. I haven't done that since....well...my last vacation, but I haven't gone completely crazy! So what, you ask, have I done without my computer...well...

I mowed the lawn
watched a lot of TV (ha!)
watched 2 movies with Greg
Wrote my BFF Natalie a letter for the first time in the nearly year and a half that she's been gone
played an xbox game that Greg bought me a while ago and never played it...(and I have to say I LOVE it! haha)
played another xbox game that Greg just recently bought me... (don't laugh...HSM3 DDR) hahaha...and if you don't get the acronyms, please don't google them
2 photo shoots (no editing! WAAAH!!!)
went for a walk/drive with Greg
went jogging (up to 3 times a week now! YAY ME!)

yeah, so that's not too much, but I was at least proud of writing the long overdue letter...(I get the award for 'worlds worst bff'. anywho...so I'm not going crazy like I thought. I'm still sad that it's not with me right now, but I'll get it soon...hopefully. I took it to the apple store here yesterday and they said it will be 2-3 days...WHAT?!? Oh well. hopefully it's nothing that I'll need to break open my secret piggy bank for...

I'm freaking out, so you get this post...

my baby died today!

I am totally freaking out,

that thing was my life...

okay not really, but It totally sucks! I am hoping it is just a glitch, and it will work again tomorrow! (my baby is my Mac...did you catch that?!? lol)

I was just transferring files from my computer to my external hard drive....

then BLACK! I tried restarting it....

nothing...

so.....I will not be able to redo my blog header, like I was planning

I'm just glad that all my recent wedding photos were already on my ex-hd.

bummer deal is I don't have photoshop right now...

so I can't EDIT those billions of pics

I will still TAKE pics....

but I won't get to edit them until my computer works again

(or until I talk greg into putting photoshop on his comp..I may have to do a 30-day trial so I can get some pics edited...) but all my actions are on my computer...so what am I to do?

But...please if you wanted to do a session witih me. I will still do it. In fact. I encourage it. I need money to now pay for either a new computer or to fix this one...haha...

<---sigh---> I'm hoping that nothing major is wrong though, and that it's just a glitch and tomorrow it will work again...

For now, I'm babbling to keep from freaking out too much. No point....it's just a temporary thing. nothing I can do about it....

I love to see the temple...

So...I had a wedding yesterday in SL. Greg got work off to go with me (which I was SO GRATEFUL for!) I always freak out the night before and up until the actual wedding, so having him drive down with me, was calming. When I woke up (at 6:30 in the AM! UGH!!) it was RAINING!!! Weather forecast said rain all day too, so that's another reason I was happy to have Greg come...he could hold the umbrella! :) Before we left, we said a prayer...praying for "cooperative weather." Little did I know what kind of cooperative weather we'd get. It was PERFECT!!! It was overcast while we were at the temple, and SUNNY for the INDOOR reception! Oh my heck. It was fabulous! How grateful I was for such 'cooperative' weather. Anyway, so we get to SL about 8:45. The ceremony is at 9. So we just park and wait for a while. I never know what time the ceremonies will get over because they are all different. So I decide to wait until about 10 after and I walk up to the temple. There is like no one in the waiting room, so I go to the restroom. When I come out I noticed that there was a group of people in there now. So I just went outside to wait. I only knew Jenny and her mom, so of course both of them are going to be in the temple still. So I ask these people that had walked out if they were there for the wedding. And they were...lol, that was the SHORTEST ceremony I've ever known...All my other SL wedddings lasted what seemed like FOREVER! So that was good...anyway....to make a long story short...the happy came out and we did pictures for about an hour. When we are done I walked back to the car, where Greg was. Now the ceremony wasn't until 6 that night, and it was now 11. We didn't have anything planned, but when Greg went to start the car.....IT WOULDN'T START! We had left the lights on the entire time I was at the temple! hmm...so.....what to do, right?!? We just sat in the car for probably 30 -45 minutes before it started getting really hot in the car (did I mention the cooperative weather?!). We decided to go for a walk, so we walked around the conference center, then over to the visitor's center where we walked around the grounds, then inside. It was so much fun. Its so relaxing there, and everything was so pretty. The flowers were in bloom, and I wish I had my camera when we walked around. But....Here are some pics of the LAST time I was down there...in the bitter cold and no flowers, however it always seems to be absolutely gorgeous!!






Anyway...that's my day yesterday in a really short story!!!!
